Astoria wondered how exactly Pansy would react when she found out about…everything. She briefly hoped that someone else would tell her just so she didn’t have to be around for Pansy’s reaction. She sighed, there was nothing she wanted more than to be back in their own time. ❝ I would like the chance to meet my son when, you know, he’s actually born and not…older than me. ❞ She laughed quietly.
❝ You’ll make a great mother, Pansy. ❞ Astoria thought that Pansy could probably be a great anything if she wanted. Even if they didn’t hold…exactly the same beliefs.
“I know I will,” she said. Except she didn’t, because while there was a chance she could be like her father, she could also just as easily end up being her mother. She wondered if it was in her DNA to be kind in that way, when her mother had abandoned her long before she actually left her life. “I don’t care what they’re like, as long as they’re okay.”
She softened. “We have lived through so much, but they didn’t have to. That’s all I want for them.”
