I made this bc I started shipping Izuku Midoriya and Violet Parr from My Hero Academia and The Incredibles respectively.

Not Invisible to Me

"Wow! Your powers are so cool!"

It wasn't the first time Violet had heard it. Plenty of people had said, "Invisigirl has such cool powers!" or "Invisibility and force fields!? That's awesome!"

But this was the first time a fellow super had fawned over them.

Bunny Boy is what Metroville had taken to calling him, for his powerful jumps and kicks, and the obvious bunny ears on his costume. He had seemed embarrassed by the nickname, but hadn't fought it.

But he was also amazing. He held such power in his slight frame. With a single kick, Bunny Boy had ended an explosive onslaught by the bombastic villain, Bomb Voyage.

A swipe of his leg had completely negated the explosion and minimized collateral damage while simultaneously subduing the villain. That lone kick had gained Bunny Boy plenty of popularity throught the city.

Yet, Violet stood there, watching his green eyes light up on her mere appearance as he rambled on about her powers. Her humble invisibility and force field generation.

She couldn't help but be flattered, really.

VioDeku Imagine #1

So imagine you're an Incredible.

You're fighting alongside Frozone or Voyd or some other super friend.

Suddenly, this little kid comes barreling in wearing a bunny costume and just punts the villain of the week into orbit

Like, that's Vi's bf right there.

And he just single-footedly saved the day and he's more worried about how to act in front of other supers than he is about the press/media attention

Then this pretty hero that can turn invisible walks up and is like "that was cool" and suddenly Metroville has a new celebrity supercouple much to their mutual embarrassment

So, currently, I have two main AUs for this

1) The Parrs have to move, and decide to go to Japan, where heroes are accepted.

This leads to Mr and Mrs Incredible getting a job at a hero office after taking improvised license exams, and Violet ends up getting into UA in class 1-A, bc she's awesome

2) Inko and Izuku moved over seas to stay with Hisashi. They end up in Metroville, and Izuku is excited to be in America since All Might spent a lot of time there and references the country a lot.

This leads to Izuku meeting All Might before the pro hero returns to Japan, and he still inherits One for All, leading to All Might staying in Metroville a bit longer to mentor Deku

...

Obviously in both cases Violet and Izuku end up being classmates. Violet liking the dorky, mild-mannered boy and Izuku adoring the nice and sweet girl with the cool quirk
