Hey there, welcome to PARTNERS IN CRIME’s official blog! I’m Jinxy, your author and illustrator. I am a fan artist, and everything I do in this comic I give credit to Rebecca Sugar and Cartoon Network for. I just own the art and most of the characters/destinations!

Partners In Crime’s name is shortened to PIC to make things easier XD (Pronounced either “pick” or “pee-eye-see”, whatever floats your boat ^^)
THIS COMIC IS SPINEL X STEVEN BASED. If you do not want to see the ship, you can block me and move on. You don’t have to tell me you hate it. I know a lot of people do. Don’t make other people feel like crap by telling them their opinions are different than yours. It’s not cool. What is the plot of the story? At the end of Other Friends, Spinel rejuvenates the Crystal Gems and then attacks Steven. Instead of the rejuvenator resetting his powers to when he was a kid, it wipes his memories and does untold damage to his gem. Finding herself with a clean slate and a better Pink Diamond, Spinel decides to keep him to herself… so she can have a friend and partner once again. Who are the main characters? The comic follows the perspective of Spinel, and is written as if it’s through her eyes. The other main character is Steven, her amnesiac pet, who goes with her on her adventures in the galaxy. The Injector is also a main character, but… it’s not a living thing. It’s just a machine. And it’s annoying to draw. The first original character to enter the stage in PIC is Condor Agate! She works as the head of Pink Diamond's Armoury, overseeing the usage of Pink's weapons across the galaxy. She is the gem responsible for giving Spinel the rejuvenator, Injector - and, since she also secretly works as an under-cover Crystal Gem operative - Spinel’s new job as a rogue gem bounty hunter! Another original character is the Bismuth “83”! She is the last of five bismuth sisters, who all worked in the Armoury until Steven liberated the galaxy in Era 3. She now works as a weaponsmith and mechanic for rogue gems like herself and her dear friend, Condor.
How does Steven breathe in space? I get this one a lot - I highly recommend reading my post about Steven’s rejuvenation so you can learn about his biology for this comic!!! ^^ How long will it be? PIC currently has 34 PLANNED chapters and a short Epilogue (although this may be subject to change). It’s gonna take me a long time. I hope you stick around for the end!! :D When are the pages posted? At the moment, pages will be posted on Fridays at around 8 pm Central Australian Time. (If I’m late to post a page, just assume I’m watching movies with my brother and I’ve forgotten about it. I do have a reminder on my phone, don’t worry XD) Will there be NSFW themes in this story? Nope!!! There will be (lots of) romance, but nothing sexual. However, some future pages will have a trigger warning for blood and gore. Because how can a comic be interesting without blood and gore??? Your art looks too similar to mine or someone else’s! You stole it! If my art looks like I’ve stolen it, please tell me, and I will do what I can to make sure I talk to the original artist about it. I DO NOT steal or trace art anymore – I used to, many years ago. Now that I’m older, I understand my mistakes, and all my stuff is made by my own eye and hand. Can I do fanart of your comic? IF YOU DID I WOULD CRY WITH HAPPINESS!!! You don’t have to ask me before you do fanart, just be sure to tag me so I can see it once you’re done! Can I make memes from your comic (affectionately)? Yes. Definitely. Absolutely. If you ever want a textless-version of a page, just tell me, and I will help you in any way I can to butcher my own story with memes. I WILL ALWAYS BE HERE MEMEING MY OWN ART SO FEEL FREE TO JOIN ME!
