🕯️i am a nightmare, you are a miracle - (joel x f!reader) after your two year relationship with tommy miller ends, joel takes you in — and it’s home like you’ve never quite known before. [ongoing]
🕯️i know your beat, baby - (boss!joel x f!reader) spending the summer at home in Austin not only means getting a job with your brother, but hooking up with your boss. [ongoing]
🕯️go ahead and cry, little girl - (joel x f!reader) daddy makes everything better.
🕯️our girl - (dieter x f!reader x f!oc) your girlfriend and her close friend want to give you everything, and more.
🕯️all wound up - COMING SOON (dieter bravo x f!reader) dieter asks you to be his date to an event, but it may end up as more than he bargained for. can be read as part of the 'our girl' universe, but can also be read as a standalone.
🕯️letter to an old poet - (dieter bravo x gn!reader) written for beskarandblasters phoebe bridgers/boygenius drabble challenge. you (kind of) write dieter a letter.
When you circulate the frustrating, scary news about the Trump administration’s ongoing attacks on the manufacturers of chest binders, include a link or two to charities that provide free chest binders for those who cannot afford them or cannot safely purchase them.
News about governmental attempts to restrict trans people’s autonomy has a tendency to hit the most vulnerable members of our community hard. Pairing that news with options for self-determination is protective.
Two of my favorite free binder charities are Point of Pride and the Brother 2 Brother Binder Program.
thing about censorship is that once you allow one thing to be censored, it’s a domino effect from there.
you can’t only vouch for the censorship of things you personally hate. because if those things can be censored, everything else can and will be censored too eventually, until all that’s left of art is just rainbow and sunshine and heterosexual stuff of conservative values.
it’s either nothing is censored or everything—that is not rainbow and sunshine and heterosexual and of conservative values—is censored.
“but it makes me uncomfortable” the block button is there. you can also filter out specific words/tags of what you don’t want to see. that’s how you curate your own internet experience and protect your own peace of mind. you do it by rightfully choosing not to consume (or even see) what makes you uncomfortable, what upsets you. but you don’t do it by demanding that others censor themselves just to cater to your personal comfort.
I’ll say it slowly for the few people that dont get it…
the sterilization of fanfictions causes the downfall of fandom and is a product of conceding to a puritanical, christo-fascist environment.
writing fantasies you enjoy and being disgusting disrupts the idea that women are supposed to be pure, perfect and sexual only when it is “appropriate” (read: when its for men)
being anti-fiction writing doesnt make you a feminist because fiction does not cause domestic violence, rape or murder.
