wait i didnt know ppl would actually see my sukugo band au post LOL i never use tumblr anyway i will explain my au a bit bc ive been thinking a lotttt about them. i love sukugo.
band au sukugo where sukuna is the drummer of a rock band consisting of kenjaku (who's geto's twin brother), choso, and mahito (eugh). mahito eventually gets kicked from the band for fighting with yuuji though (hooray!)
they are school rivals (college) where they're constantly trying to be better than the other in every way shape and form (Shinjuku showdown but make it academic)
one night gojo gets forced to go to geto's brother's show and sees that sukuna is their drummer and he actually looks very cool. it totally short circuits his brain. and gojo starts going to their shows more and more often bc he likes their music and totally not bc he thinks their drummer is attractive. definitely not. he could never be attracted to his rival who is coincidentally exactly his type (brooding mean guy with piercings and tattoos)(who's also very intelligent).
gojo is majoring in something STEM related. probably physics. idk what sukuna would major in i was thinking physiology. i’m still not sure abt what kuna does.
yuuji is sukuna's nephew in this au, megumi and tsumiki r both toji’s kids but were fostered by gojo when they were little (i’ll expand more on this another time). nobara yuuji and megs all go to the same high school.
there’s also another version of this au i have in mind where gojo makes his own music privately and uploads covers online. idk. he’d make like bedroom pop or something? definitely experiments a lot with his sound so he’s hard to confine to one genre but its not as heavy/loud as sukuna’s music. there’s a tonnn u could do with this AU so if anyone has any other ideas i rlly would like to hear them.
