I haven't posted in quite some time but I have a rant: some may not agree, but I think it's really sad that we just shove drug addicts into prison when they're caught in an illegal act. These people are fucking suffering and they need help. They could be regular functioning members of society but they certainly never will be once jail time is on their record. So much fucking money is spent on incarceration. Our prisons are falling apart, running out of money, and the guards traffic drugs in and out half the time. Use some sense and send these people to rehab for the same amount of time, it's getting fucking ridiculous.
