Sometime last week, my partner and I brought home some canned beans for chili. When we brought them home and were unloading them, I dropped a few, which dented the sides a bit.

"Looks like we're getting free facelifts tonight!" I joke.

"????????? What???????" my s.o says.

"Y'know, cuz of the botulism?"

"What are you talking about????"

"Botulism is caused by a bacterium commonly found in damaged canned products? And y'know how Botox is derived that same bacterium, hence the name? So by dropping the cans, I'm giving us free facelifts?" I say, explaining my thought process. "I thought this was common knowledge."

My beloved then proceeded to call me a nerd for the rest of the evening
