So now he was standing in the dark hallway outside of Olruggio’s workroom with the box.

That sounded less daunting. So, he turned and headed to their bedroom. He closed the door, locking it just to quiet his head a little. He undressed like usual, folding and hanging until everything was in its place. Then he stared at the box.

Hmmm I don't think of a queer label for them per say (maybe they are both gay men, or pans? or bi? or aromantic? or demi sexual? idk! I don't have a HC for them haha! i keep switching them between being cis or trans too! I guess I follow my orufrey mood and it keep changing! )! I just think they are the definition of love. They both sacrifice so much to be able to be with the other. They have a beautiful love story and that's what I love so much about them! :) I hope everyone had a safe pride month <3

Do you have headcanons for Beldaruit giving young/teen Qifrey The Talk? I’m torn between thinking he’d be sensitive to Qifrey absolutely wanting none of that and leaving him with a book versus barreling through that obvious discomfort with smiling aplomb because it’s for his darling apprentice’s own good and he’s been spending an awful lot of time with that boy from Ghodrey!

I do not really have a headcanon for this! I think Beldaruit would take the time to explain Qifrey everything that is ok to talk about for his age. I think it would be very irresponsible from Beldaruit to give a book and thinks it is enough. Clearly the role of a master is not only about teaching magic, but also to be a trusted guardian for their student. He is a patient teacher, he has to be ok with talking about things that are sensitve and awkward. If he acts as it is the weirdest thing ever, then Qifrey would freak out. Or he'd feel bad for being curious. Which is NOT what Beldaruit wants. And I think he would not talk about Qifrey relationship with Olly during that talk. It would only block Qifrey. And sex isn't only when you have romantic feelings toward someone. Plus I think it would give more angst to teenager Qifrey than anything else, as he can not feel safe for his own good. Maybe he'd believes he would never deserve such thing due to his curse. I personnaly think Qifrey didn't explore his sexuality that much (but he still explored it by himself, imo)! However a friend shared a pretty interesting headcanons about their Qifrey exploring his sex life more like a body need than an emotional one.

Picked up the WHA manga (I don’t have easy access to the anime though I would love to watch it based on the clips I’ve seen) in large part bc of your art and I don’t even want to read it. I just want to stare at how gorgeous these panels are. I am now understanding why literally all of the fanart I’ve seen is so visually enticing. Omfg

I think this manga is absolutely stunning in the art style obviously, composition pages and also thanks to its writing! There are many moments where the text is really beautiful and powerful!! Kamome Shirahama really knows when to use text over their art, in my opinion. So this manga is absolutely stunning in every way.

Of course we all admire the stunning art, but the text is as beautiful too!

I hope you will be able to enjoy the anime! It is so stunning and you can see that everyone involved did a wonderful job :)

Personally, how tall do you think each of the characters are in Witch Hat Atelier are?

hmm I do not really care about size as I change them depending how I want my story telling to be! It is something I learned to do when I studied animation during college. But I am pretty sure there is an official size chart.

I don't think size and strength matter in fiction! Qifrey being able to EASILY carry a 12 years old is pretty impressive!!! I can carry my 4 y/o fine, but he is getting heavier now! I dont think I will be able to carry him in few years. So easily carrying a 12 y/o is not realistic, imo, but we all understand that it is meant to show that Qifrey is warm and close to his girls. So he can carry them when they need it. so you can do wathever in fiction!
