Next stop: The Mythosaur in The Mandalorian and Grogu? đź‘€
Maul vs. the Syndicates is the perfect setup to bring the bounty hunters into the fold. If there was ever a time for a young Boba Fett to make his mark, it’s now.
The DNA of 1313 never truly left us.
I’ve always felt that in The Book of Boba Fett, Boba should have moved on from bounty hunting by embracing Jaster Mereel’s legacy. Instead of just a "Crime Lord," he could have revived the "True Mandalorian" philosophy—honor-bound soldiers rather than simple mercenaries.
Who better to carry that torch than Boba? His own armor's chain code links him directly to that lineage. It’s the perfect way to honor Jaster (Jango’s adoptive father) and bring that branch of Mandalorian history back to the forefront.
Since the True Mandalorians were essentially soldiers-for-hire who protected territories, Boba’s core essence would remain intact. He’d still be a warrior, but one with a code and a purpose beyond the highest bidder.
If the goal was to show a more "benevolent" Boba Fett, this path makes the most sense. It closes his circle by connecting him to the Mandalorian bloodline and heritage that defines his ancestry.
