In my characterization and writing of Bailey...

I really want to talk about how the writing in Bailey in the game is unique to anyone else because of PC's hypervigilance. PC is always analyzing his micro-expressions, trying to anticipate his mood. The narration often focuses on what Bailey doesn't do. He doesn't look at you. He doesn't hit you, not here.

That writing in the game around Bailey really got to me, like with the Ocean Breeze Cafe when Bailey wears a smile that is almost real or warm, or when he is about to sneer and the only person that seems to notice is PC while Bailey's facade works on anyone else.

PC is always on alert and glancing towards him and analyzing him, because he's their longstanding abuser, and I really love it. I feel seen in this behavior.
