Ah yes, Charlie "gun violence deaths are the cost of keeping our 2nd amendment rights" Kirk is just a debater. Charlie "I'd force my 10 year old daughter to give birth" Kirk is just counter-arguing. Charlie "children should watch executions" Kirk isn't inciting violence. You're right that violence is not the answer, but I sure as hell ain't gonna mourn him.

Ah, yes, words are violence, but violence isn't violence depending on whether it's your side or theirs.

I don't usually make blog posts. I prefer to let my art talk. Nothing comes out right though and I need this off my chest if I finally want to sleep tonight. Skip the rambles if you're just here for the art.

This week the internet has shown me two gruesome, uncensored videos. Things I wish I hadn't seen. Things I will never unsee. I've witnessed silence for the murder of Iryna Zarutska. Crickets. All from people that are about social justice.

Now I see people rejoicing at the assassination of someone who debated his ideas with everybody. I am disgusted. All I'm seeing is people agreeing to death penalty for 'wrongthink'. He had a lot of opinions that are controversial today, all he did was confront them everyday and debated cordially. Charlie Kirk wasn't like the cocky Steven Crowder or the very incompetent Ben Shapiro. He listened and counter argued, you could not like what he was saying but he never called for violence.

This attitude only radicalises the fence sitters, rightwingers and people that are supposedly on your side. It creates hatred everywhere. Heck, I'm trying not to become bitter right now.

Thankfully I've seen other leftists call this attitude out as well, unfortunately too few. You are saying that people who feel sympathy and condolences for his family are in the wrong. Well excuse the not ghouls for thinking that his three and one years old shouldn't have seen their father get killed in front of their eyes. His daughter was trying to run to him seeking protection because of the agitation.

There's a saying that "if you want to kill your dog, just say it has rabies".

"But you see I can't feel bad when a nazi gets killed."

Who declared him a nazi? Ah yes, the very famous open to debate nazi. Stop throwing this word around like it has no meaning, because there are real neonazis out there and they are not out in the open like Charlie Kirk was.

The moment you shut off debate is the moment you accept that there is nothing left to do but violence. You are objectively showing everyone that they should keep their ideas and opinions to themselves and they will. They will no longer express the mildest, most milktoast opinion in fear of retaliation and you wont know who's hiding under the mask. Just pray that we're not on the verge of a civil war, because the casualties will be numerous and not just the ones you hate.

Hello, thanks for the good wishes. I was in quite a rut but I'm slowly getting back into drawing and enjoying it. I should post soon when I'm satisfyed with a piece.
