You know I felt the need to send this just because, for some reason i guess, but. My father also died suddenly of a heart attack just a few weeks ago, at just 49. I just want to say, even if it might be weird because im some stranger you dont know, that I hope you and your family are able to get financial help you need and I hope youre able to get through this tough time. It's hard to articulate i guess but, im keeping you and your family in my thoughts.

You know, this isn’t ever something I thought I would post, but here we are. This last Tuesday my dad died of a sudden heart attack. With things like this, there isn’t really any time to plan. So that leaves my mom and I in our current state: without my dad, without a huge source of income, and suddenly with a lot of bills to pay. My dad was a good guy but he would be the first to admit he wasn’t the brightest–my dad didn’t have medical insurance, and america’s health care system is pretty fucked. My dad was also our sole household provider and the money he made went directly to bills. As of right now, there’s a little more than $20 in my parent’s savings account.When people die, the first thing that comes to mind shouldn’t be “how am I going to pay for this?” but that’s our reality, and something that would tear my dad up inside if he knew what my mom and I were going through right now.

I understand holidays can be rough for most people so I’m not expecting a lot. If you happen to have something to spare I would appreciate it immensely. I’ll even take spare time–if you’re able to share, please do! It would mean a lot to me.
