uh uh uh totally fine to not respond but have your crew always been able to “take over”/front or did that develop.

- scared person who perhaps has a crew of others but also doesn’t want them to take over bc that’s scary and so has no idea how to connect w them

it's definitely always happened!! (at least since my system formed. but I don't know when that happened. could have been anywhere from 4 years old to like. 10. no clue.)

the only difference is that eight years ago before I Knew what was going on, everyone else also thought they were just Me. so for the different people fronting, it just felt like sudden shifts in relationships, likes, dislikes, ways of reacting to things, behaviour, comforts/discomforts etc BUT in reality. that was because a Whole Other Guy was there instead of me.

the only shift from then vs now is that your frame of reference for who you are changes! it's really just more freeing and less stressful and makes more sense once you know what's going on. I understand the fear but they're just people. if it starts to happen, just. let it happen. even if it's scary.
