š± || FROM: š || || TO: š || š± > Well, yes. > However, these should only be in the branches, not the main wards, let alone housings. Had to deal with them in Mistwood > ⦠unless someone intentionally lured them all the way here. > I wouldnāt put it past them.
As a metaphorical cog clicked into place, heād type a tad more hastilyā in case something truly prompted that question.
> though donāt fucking fight them if you got no diamondized weapon at hand it wonāt work > whatād logically break a diamond wonāt work either such logic doesnāt apply to this bloody snow it seems > can only fight fire with fire in this case
Ā Ā ... Did he forget who he was talking to?
š± || FROM: š || || TO: š || š±
> clive > if something attacks me you know its going to either go down two ways > i kill it > or i die > frankly im banking on the first outcome because that procedure has gotten me this far > but this shouldnt be news
Ā Ā That didnāt take away from the fact that he still didnāt have anything to actually kill it with, if Cliveās information was correct. But heās not prone to the concepts of running away. Maybe heās a little bull-headed, sure, but did that even matter?
Ā Ā If something wanted to kill him, then heās gonna be giving it a hard time doing so--
Ā Ā He turned sharply at a low snarl from behind, meeting glassy, silvery eyes staring out at him from over the snowdrift, of- What the actual fuck was that? Icy spines, glossy and sharp, hunched over with a mouth filled with needle-like teeth. Breath steamed from itās mouth in the cold air as it gave another warning snarl before resting itās paws on the mound, stout body quivering like a jaguar about to pounce.
Ā Ā Huh.
>Ā hey im starting to think that asking for all my masks back instead of, i dunno, a fucking gun was a stupiddida
iāve been feeling anxious so here! have some shitposts in the meantime,

Clive didnāt anticipate an immediate response, really. If anything, this was quicker than expected.
š± || FROM: š || || TO: š || š± > you celebrate christmas? Well, would have?
> Oh, youāre in Fibonacci! Merely a few streets apart, now. Interesting. Donāt know about you, but Iād prefer this Ward over Cotes anyday. > A relief you found a way in, too. > Not much has changed for me, for better or for worse > Things have been quiet lately, pretty much.
> Hey, this is probably irresponsible from me to suggest but like > If you can get some blunt objects to be covered in this āsnowā or find some broken pieces of it, you could use it to break doors and such free from the rocks. > Can make tools and weapons just as indestructible as the odd gems for the time being. Until the phenomenon passes, anyhow.
Ā Ā Poking his head out of his window, he looked down at the ice... rock... whatever, creeping up the walls. Seeing as there was nothing in his new home for him, it was probably best to get out before he got frozen in.
Ā Ā Crawling out of the open window, he lowered himself down as far as he could before dropping. It was only two stories; at worst heād roll an ankle. Thankfully, the ice wasnāt slippery, despite itās glassy appearance.
š± || FROM: š || || TO: š || š±
> i dont own a lot of stuff anyway so having it encased in ice isnt concerning > i just hope itās not gonna spoil all my food > but iāll keep that in mind > worlds sharpest ice knife
Ā Ā What the hell was that?
Ā Ā ā...ā
Weird... crunching noise...
Ā Ā He stared at an unimposing mound of snow. Nothing moved. Out of habit, he checked the area for anything to grab.
Ā Ā Nothing but an iced-over bench.
> hey > just a question > monsters?
š± || FROM: š || || TO: š @patiencethinā || š± > wow thatās downright horrible timing for a return > to be frank though you didnāt miss much the last months > aside from the fact that the entire city is covered with almost indestructible gems as of late > i hope youāre at least able to get inside your housing?
Ā Ā Thereās almost a whole half hour of wait till he gets around to responding, too exasperated with waking up in a completely different part of the city than he remembered, with the city covered in over-glorified rocks,Ā on topĀ of the implication that heād been missing forĀ months.Ā
š± || FROM: š || || TO: š || š±
> i missed christmas. this is literally the worst thing ever > honestly i canāt say im surprised at this point though > when i first arrived here the whole city was covered in children > so > having everything turned into ice-rocks is the least weirdest thing so far > i got moved to fibonacci. which is great. i dont think i could even pronounce that if i even tried > i managed to get in through the window but most of my stuffs been frozen over since itās half-encased > howāve you been?
Ā Ā Great.
Ā Ā The whole city is covered in rocks.

š± || FROM: š || || TO: š || š± > remind me to order a sub sandwich as incorrectly as possible next time out of pure spite
The joke would be on him, sure, since heād have to eat that awful abomination ā but heād still find it funny.
> regardless, isnāt that a stranger, then, though? > feel free to cut through my words if iām underestimating you but > didnāt you pretty much lose him just now. > you *did* say that premeditative murder takes time.
š± || FROM: š || || TO: š || š±
> i was following him > and then > i lost him > because i was thinking about killing him too hard
Ā Ā Thinking and walking at the same time? Thatās quite the achievement.
>Ā unfortunately during the time spent shadowing someone > i sort of realized it was a stupid thing to hurt someone over > sandwiches...
@patiencethinā sent;
> Ā i was planning a murder Ā Ā > Ā but iām back now
left on read.
heād take quite a while before replying, stunned. Eventuallyā¦
š± || FROM: š || || TO: š || š± > you⦠plan things? > like you actually plan your stuff beforehand? you, from all people? you donāt wholly lack forethought after all?
we get it, clive.
> iām almost impressed. > 2000 dust says it wonāt work out, though.
Ouch. Even though Cliveās right, thatās still a bit of a wound to whateverās left of his ego.
š± || FROM: šĀ || || TO:Ā š || š±
> listen > premeditative murder takes time > which is why i dont do it much myself > but sometimes iām willing to put actual effort into things > especially when it comes to the sanctity of having the right toppings on a sub sandwich > like how do you even mess up mistaking mayonnaise with a salad dressing > this guy should die for that
bro you gotta stop smoking bro you are burning the candle at both ends bro your knees are gonna be crunchy by the age of 30 BRO
Silently crushes out his cig on the concrete railing. Oh heās not gonna quitĀ smoking, but heās not so much of an asshole to start breathing smoke in this guyās face while theyāre busy being up in it.
Itās not like heās planned on being around at 30 in the first place anyways.
Ā Ā Finding out where the other lived took a bit of effort. Jacket isnāt exactly the detective type, and having to get his... acquaintancesĀ into explaining how the Spirale phone apps work to find out what condo the guy was living in was painful but ultimately fruitful.
Ā Ā What was moreĀ painful was watching Adachi stumble into the building, drunk as hell and looking like he was about to pass out before he could even reach the elevator to his floor.
Ā Ā It was probably best to do it in the lobby anyways. He didnāt know if this guy had any roommates whoād be willing to defend his ass anyways. The rubber grip in his left hand made a noise of protest as he squeezed it. He picked a golf club as his weapon of choice. Seemed appropriate for this kind of thing.
Ā Ā Putting out the cigarette under his heel, Jacket slipped on the mask before pushing off from the tree upon which he warmed from how long heād been leaning against it. Waiting.
Ā Ā The doors to the building opened automatically as he approached it, sensors detecting his movement.
Ā Ā Catching up to him across the floor would be easy.
