absolutely heartbroken for Youssef, Hamza, and their family.
No motivation to write my d'var....
i find it insane how people can easily grasp the concept of social pressure making people act against their own interest when it comes to mentally ill, lonely and violent men
when a man shows anti-social and self destructive behaviours, people are quick to talk about how he couldnt express his feelings, or grew up in a culture where male dominance is glorified and his choices were made in that context
but when women try to criticise self destructive and toxic feminine behaviours like engaging in violent kinky sex, becoming a housewife etc all anyone wants to talk about is how ~it's her choiiice~ and never discuss the social forces that drive those choices
It’s so blatantly self serving. These people just want a system where men are protected but not bound and women are bound but not protected.
Also, people like when women make choices against our own interest; they want the answer to "why did she do that?" to be "she just wanted to."
When men act against their own interests, they generally do so by engaging in violent, antisocial behavior which is disruptive to society. When women act against our own interests, it tends to be in ways that serve men. Like porn, prostitution, dangerous sex, or being a subservient wife/girlfriend. And because we live in a society structured around women serving men, this self-destructive behavior by women serves society, rather than disrupting it.
Women serving men at the expense of our own well-being is not a problem to be solved to these people because it's giving men what they want.

a siddur belonging to marilyn monroe, complete with her annotations in pencil. many remember her as a sex symbol who lived a difficult life, but few know of her conversion & devotion to judaism. "everybody's always out to get them, no matter what they do," said monroe. "like me."
you know that frustrating feeling when you denounce antisemitism and you sometimes feel like a deranged conspiracy theorist? Like when you have to explain to goyim that, yes, all these ngos and organisation and the un are deeply antisemitic.
there’s a very simple reason for that.
ANTISEMITISM HAS ALWAYS BEEN A MAJORITY OPINION.
Antisemitism has always been the majority, the mainstream, the consensus.
We have a long history. Sometimes we were persecuted and sometimes we were mostly left alone. But throughout all that, even during peaceful times, prejudice against us was deeply ingrained in the cultures that surrounded us. Especially Christian and Muslim cultures.
what happened after the holocaust is that the Christian west felt temporarily ashamed (plus nazis were made into the universal bad guy), and so for once Jew hatred became gauche. Taboo. But that deep, cultural judenhass never left. All it took was for it to be rebranded as anti-zionism, anti-colonialism, anti-genocide, and the floodgates were flung open.

She’s Beautiful When She’s Angry
Apparently, representing a shy and sensitive male in media is brave and daring and the conversation we need right now…
…but having a strong independent woman who can kick your ass in media is the act of disingenuous CEOs forcefully pushing a half-assed message down your throats for some cheap audience praise.
Got it.
Anyways, modern gender culture is trying to expand what a male can be and further limit what a female can be and it’s working.
Gender ideology is offensive stereotypes
I can't gift wrap, so I must not be a woman.
I am watching a body cam footage video wherein a man went to a hotel, took his junk out, got on his knees and began m*sturbating in front of the female clerk. Mind you, this was after he'd been in and out of jail several times recently AND had an ankle monitor on. This guy cannot and will not stop terrorizing other people.
The cops show up, and tell him who filed the complaint, the woman at the hotel, and he blows up in anger. They said to each other, "Since he has a history of violent outbursts, we're just going to let him walk for now and pick him up later when he cools down." And they let him walk away.
They told him who filed the report. What if this guy who was "too angry and scary for the police to arrest" went and KILLED that woman forthwith? This group of armed police officers were more concerned with their own safety than the lone woman he exposed himself to!
This is terrifying. I was glad to see that people in the comment section were calling this out, but how often does this sort of thing happen?
It's this video, if anyone wants to see it.
My favorite is the part where he immediately knew to accuse the woman who called the police of making a false complaint and asking how much time she would spent in jail. Meanwhile this isn’t even his first offense on the same sexual harassment charge.
My second favorite part is the fact that he was released again on another $1000 bond.
I can't find the words to say how much this has upset me this morning.
