A month ago I started my Patreon project so that I could send snail mail again. I wanted to build a deeper connection with all of you out there, and to build a voice beyond social media monthly. February's rewards were inspired by my time in Matsuzaki and my time down at @webasehostel in Kamakura. I've been playing with the Zecchi palettes from @pigment_tokyo and I love them. Saving up all my yen for the 48 palette now. 🐚🌊🙏🏼✨

I see you. I hear you. ... I've also been spending a lot of my time painting with @pigment_tokyo's Zecchi watercolor set for my upcoming exhibition in April! It's like learning to use a new tool and I love it. It's been a while since I've painted with pancakes. Does anyone else have a habit of using too much water to get them started? For a while now I've been looking for quality watercolour paper to work on in Tokyo. I've since kind of fallen in love with @pigment_tokyo's Bamboo Washi paper for watercolor. The paper is super absorbent, and gives a nice textured quality to the painting. 🖌🖼✨#pigmenttokyo #nohardfeelings (at Pigment TOKYO)
