If you told a DELTARUNE theorist to predict how a grappling hook would be put in the game, they'd predict it as a SOUL mode exclusive to one boss battle, while Toby Fox would implement it as an overworld mechanic for more than one chapter.

It's odd that we get to an remixed area theme in Chapter 5 in Deltarune, taking the Reverse Undertale theory into account. Following the area order and chapter order, Chapter 6 should be where we encounter an area with the repeated area theme. If Card Kingdom was paralleling New Home, which in Undertale remixed the Ruin's theming, then at Chapter 6, we should arrive at an area that parallels the Ruins, and thus Chapter 6 in some way should be a remix of Card Kingdom. We go to the Flower Kingdom in Chapter 5, and we... get a remix of the first area a chapter earlier than what should line up with the theory. We go to the Garden, which is a remix of the Field, and even has a remixed Rudinn enemy. But it's hard to say if this really means anything though. Flower Kingdom still lines up with Snowdin in many ways, from having lots of plants to the frequent flower minibosses mirroring the dog minibosses, there are a bunch of things that still line up! So it's kind of just strange that it's like that.

I know the Deltaswap AUs are going to have a field day with each and every single one of those flowers. This isn't just restricted to Deltarune, by the way. I'm fully expecting a swap AU with Flowery replacing Flowey or an AU with one of the flowers like Seth for example replacing Frisk.

my prediction for the deltarune weird route ending is that, after everyone dies, the voice comes out, appraises the player for doing something he did not predict, and then says he's going to leave the player with DELTARUNE and work on a new project, which hopefully... (cut to the other typer) has only one GOOD ending, you "freak"

Some are bringing up that those flower rudinns from the trailer are probably supposed to be hanafuda cards, but if that does end up being the case, then what would be the hanafuda equivalents of the other 5 playing cards???
