Promotional Gewgaws

I found a folder of the promotional images I used when pitching 10 Beautiful Postcards (forthcoming on Steam, already on Itch) to the zeitgeist first time around.

The first batch explain the game genre. At the time I felt the game intuitively made sense if you played it but was maybe hard to "pitch", so they also represent my desire to mutilate surrounding vidcon discourse into something that would better suit my adverneeds.

If you like the top-down parts of Anthology Of The Killer where you glide around a weird collage pile as a little guy, if you like Yume Nikki, Theresa Duncan's CD-ROMs, the Museum of Anything Goes, the Encyclopedia Of Clamps, if you hate collision, if you desire to enter the World of the Eye, here is a fabulous game for you. 200 screens, 2+ hours.... anecdotally, many more.... a lifetime of Hotel.

japanese translation! of the killer!

greetings all, i figure most people reading here will be ENG speakers but just in case: there is now a Japanese translation of Anthology Of The Killer, by translator Fuglekongerige. i can't read japanese but they've also translated games like He Fucked The Girl Out Of Me, and has even created a whole annotations list of art and quote references for anyone who might be unfamiliar with some of the sources in the game! i'm very glad more people get a chance to try it and want to thank Fuglekongerige for their hard work.

Official Announcement that Anthology Of The Killer is coming to Switch and PS5 in the near future!! This has been in the works for a while, Glasgow company Hairy Heart are handling the porting and have thankfully not been throwing things at me for my suboptimal code. I think the game looks cool on the bright screen of the Switch. And it'll be an important qualifying step for Mario And Sonic Meet The Killer At The 20XX Winter Olympics, which will be announced pending delivery of several letters made of cut up magazines. Keep your eyes peeled for more news about enjoying the act of killing in your immersive home entertainment environs.
