I always wanted to be a mom, ever since I was very young. When I finally found the right person, getting pregnant wasn't easy for us. I went through a lot, and when I thought my chances were gone and that I would never be able to have children, my first son came along... and then, just a year later, my daughter. Things suddenly became easier, brighter, and I learned something important: I can't control everything. So I decided I wouldn't try to control my children's lives either. Since then, my mission has been to support their independence, their happiness, and whatever dreams they choose to pursue. And honestly, I feel the same way about my fictional kids. That's such a valuable lesson to learn. There's also sort of an act of learning how to be patient, as well, right? I know most of us want to get things done by a certain age or think we need to have it all figured out and have a family before we're considered old by society terms. But you got your dreams granted! It's neat being able to hear that the lesson you learned also extended to how you went about raising your children though. That's definitely special. Oh gosh, my mom feels so proud to say that you played my on screen mom for 'Love Story' — it's kind of like a little brag she likes to bring up to friends. Which I mean, I can't blame her. Thank you! Does she have any big plans now that it's summer? Oh no worries, I won't judge you at all. I get it. I think doing lunch will be nice, I know Sarah and I would love to see you. I think it's an amazing thing. I love my kids and they have their own personalities, their own life and I love to respect their individuality, i think that's pretty much like you. It was amazing to spend some time with you and Sarah two nights ago. I missed you, guys. "you're welcome babe," she told him, unable to stop herself from smiling. she knew that it took a lot for him to accept compliments. though she was happy that he realized that she was going to keep on going with them. everything in that moment felt so completely right. she couldn't believe how lucky she was, to have found the person she was meant to be with, from her first major project. the blonde knew they both were so eager to be married," it's going to be so nice for the whole world to know that you're mine and i'm all yours." sarah knew that the cliche was right as far as you'd know that you found the one, that you'd know.

she smiled as he kissed the top of her hair and she went to grab a jacket. the dress being covered up felt important. even though she had no idea if people would notice. her hand reached for his, following him towards the front door," we are, i wasn't sure about dinner? we could do room service or do you want to do something a little nicer?" honestly she wasn't someone who needed a whole big thing. it was why she was content with having everything so private.

together they were heading down to the waiting car. no one seemed to be paying them any mind and she went to slip in. her hands reaching to adjust the skirt of her dress, crossing one leg over the other," i know this is all last minute," she paused," but do we have rings?"

The answer that she gave about doing room service was one of the reasons why he adored her more than anything. She was so down to earth and to Paul that was important to have in a partner. He wasn't a flashy kind of man when it came to day to day life and even when being on the red carpet for events. If she enjoyed being in and having dinner in the comfort of the room they had for the night then they would do that. As word got out about them being out In the city together he knew that they would eventually run into fans after dinner and even before, depending on how quick the news spread. "You know, I didn't think about doing room service for dinner, but if that's something you want to do then we can do that and enjoy our privacy." Paul was speak as they walked towards the elevator and made their way down to the lobby.

Their car had just arrived, and opening the door for Sarah he helped her get in and also get the end of her dress into the car without getting it dirty. Getting in himself, he settled in beside her. The drive to the court hopefully wouldn't be too bad, but with it being Saturday and being in the city? One could never tell how busy it was going to be. Brows raised at her question, he patted the top of his coat and when he felt the small box that they were both in, he pulled it out. "Of course, we have rings." Opening the box, he showed her the two white gold band rings, "it's nothing too fancy or flashy since it was last minute. But before we both have to get back to work, I figured we could go shopping for your ring and you can pick it out." The two rings were just temporary and still would be apart of their story; having Sarah pick her ring though, it was important to him.

After a thirty-minute drive, they had finally arrived — glancing our the window, he then turned his head to her with a smile, "you ready?" He questioned before stepping out. While he knew she wasn't going to back down from their decision, he still wanted to ensure that she was ready to go and do the thing.

sarah knew that they weren't doing things in order. some might have said it was rushed, but that didn't matter to them. if they weren't on location? they were staying in the same place, even when they both owned their own homes. she hadn't been surprised when paul had broached the subject of eloping while they had been in cancun. it hadn't felt right to do it there. she knew that he was the only one that she wanted to be with, so why wait? she couldn't picture anyone else in her life besides him. their connection had been instant when they met and had only grown as time passed by. that was how they had come to agree to eloping in new york city. it was the place that everything had started for them.

they were going to go down to the courthouse, just the two of them. she didn't want something big, she wanted it to be just them. it was a relief that he was on the same page. she had managed to find a dress and she felt like it wasn't too much. after applying some light make up, she pulled her hair up and back. she was going to slip her shoes on when paul stepped into the living room. the blonde stood up and ran her hands along her sides. a smile appeared on her face at the sight of him," and you look handsome, as always."

her hands went to his chest as his went to her waist. everything felt completely right in that moment. she had never imagined that she'd feel so content," i've been ready," she admitted, nearly wanting to give him a kiss, but not wanting to smear her lip stick," and i can't wait to be able to say that i'm your wife and that you're my husband."

"Thank you, my love." He responded at her compliment, normally he wasn't good with compliments and it wasn't because he didn't appreciate them or accept them. Paul normally just found himself being bashful whenever he'd get them and insist that they didn't need to be that kind towards him. However, when it came to Sarah — he always accepted them. Knowing that they were given with good intention and heartfelt, it made him feel good. Breathing in as she placed her hands on his chest, he couldn't think of a better place to be. "Mm yes, I can't wait to introduce you to everyone as my wife. All mine, mine...mine." He repeated that singular word and couldn't believe this was all reality. Sarah had been his person and truthfully he couldn't believe that it had taken this long to meet and find her, but alas, it was better than never finding her at all.

Placing one last kiss on the top of her hair, he released his hold of her hips and went to grab the keys to the apartment and his wallet. While they were gone, he was going to have his assistant grab their suitcases and drop them off at the Plaza. That was one thing that Sarah had permitted — for his assistant to help. Holding out his hand for her to grab, he opened the door and locked the bottom lock, "lets get rolling then. I know that we're headed to the Plaza afterwards for the night, but dinner. What are we thinking of having?"

While it was a big day for them, Paul didn't want to overwhelm her with too much. Taking it slow and her pace was important to the male actor. He knew that it was a moment in their lives that they would remember for the rest of their lives, he really just wanted her to have the best day. Have her smiling and happier than ever. That was his main priority of the day while also making her his wife, of course.

Paul and Sarah weren't exactly doing things as traditional as one would expect of them. They were already basically living together when they weren't off on location. Paul had even suggested eloping with her while they were in Cancun. It was a thought that he had for awhile; there was a certainty deep within him that he knew she was the one for him. Sarah was the person that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, grow old with and if the future brought kids to them? Then he wouldn't shy away from that either. So, when she agreed to it? He was over the moon and suggested that they elope in New York City. Go to the court house and get married on Saturday afternoon. The city was where it had all started for them both; where they fell in love with one another. As cliche as it sounded, but it was true.

Sarah had bought a dress for the occasion, and Paul was using one of the Tom Ford suits that he was fortunate enough to keep. He didn't want to go too over the top, but he still wanted to look good and photo ready. Though it was going to be private and only them two, Paul still wanted photos of the moment. That way they could remember this day for the rest of their lives and if they were to have children? Then they could tell them all about how they got married while also showing photos of the day.

Stepping out of the bedroom and into the living room, his eyes settled on the blonde that was standing there. God, she always managed to take his breath away. She was gorgeous, and he truly thought of himself as the luckiest man to ever live. "You look so gorgeous, Sarah." he said, as he walked further into the living area and towards her. Placing his hands on either side of her hips, he leaned his eyes just enough so he could place a quick kiss on her forehead. "Are you ready to spend the rest of your life with me?" @pidgeonsarah

We did get to do actors on actors together. I was so relived that we got paired together and genuinely was surprised at just how funny he is. We actually met on the set.
