Add 4 cups of hot water and heat on low, stirring until the soap fully dissolves. Do not boil. Fill a 5-gallon bucket halfway with hot tap water. Pour the melted soap mixture into the bucket. Add 1 cup washing soda and 1 cup borax. Stir well for about 2 minutes. Fill the rest of the bucket with cold water. Put the lid on and let it sit overnight. By the next day, it should turn into a thick laundry gel. Use about 1/2 cup per load.
