What I like and what I dislike

I get problems with lots of things because I miss 2 days and I also lost half of my coding lesson because We got big confusion where I suppose to be but I try to catch up and I think I done it. the most what I like to do is a research by playing a different game but same type of games and get additional idea from it. The most what I dislike is research by reading about someone because it’s boring. I think I done coding really well. The worst thing on my game its my bad art skill.

what is widget

that’s the interface you can use widget to do hp, souvenir, list, maps and other things its basically thing to add something on your screen

Hp bar

I create hp bar to make player know what is his hp

Variable

variable is a event what repeated information in your game for example health point, time, day, and other information I use it for my health point bar and on the end for congratulation a player which finish the level.

double jump

I doesn't use double jump because on my level its been to easy and I just not a fun of double jumps in the games

overlap events and collision box

on my trap there was a collision box when player touch the box its send him to the start of the level.

I also add a health point bar its check all the time how many health point you had that’s overlap event

walk, idle, jump, death.

I create walk animation in photoshop my character do it every time when you move.

I do idle animation my character do it when its stand in my place for longer time.

I create jump animation my character do it when you on the air.

I create death animation, its turn on when you stand on the trap. I not sure i will use all of them.

Trap

I create trap which make my level harder it will kill player when he stand on it

Jump pad

I create a jump pad its will help player bet the level

Idea how my block suppose to look like

That’s my idea how blocks of my level suppose to look. I create everyone of them and i like to use them all

I decide to do Gumball from The Amazing World of Gumball its 32x32 pixel art

hyper light drifter

I really like the colors its nice connection of pink with  blue and  we can see everything nice and clear. Way how camera follow a player its wired because we look at character from top that’s make this game different

I create my blocks and start to build my level up I finish to build my first one

Super Meat Boy

This game is old platformer that’s mean one only point of the game to go from the start to the end but still this game is really good platformer and its worth to play. Our character is a small square who need beat the levels of course you got lots of traps and enemy which try to stop you.

Hollow Knight

Hollow Knight is a good 2D platformer. We play as a small knight who travel through ruined kingdom. Knight have a superpower’s which you can unlocked on the game also you can upgrade you equipment (sword) he can do more dmg also add additional effect like burn poison its really helpful when you fight with bosses also game give us a lot of different epic bosses as a platformer its hard for some people for some people not but its worth to try.

Terraria

I like Terraria as a different survival from Minecraft but also its a good 2D platform game developer give us a world where we need to survive at the start we need collect orbs and blocks to build a shelter and do useful equipment, the point of the game is to survive. Game is also in multiplayer so we can play with friends. i really like this game.

Inside

In Inside we got much more movement and our character move much more then in the different platformer’s that make as feel like the character is more really. the similarity to limbo is big because this 2 games got dark colors and both doesn't have main menu after starting the game.

In Inside background do lots of movement for example people, tracks trees, our character react for every event which happen on the screen that’s make game more real and add more action.

In Inside we need to sneak around the enemy because we can’t fight with them, when the enemy find you he will kill you. That’s make this game different then other platformer and i really like that game.

Inside got really nice graphic and a lot of details which make game more interesting and its nice to eye.
