Hey Beans!
I know these times aren't the easiest at all. Companies want more profit, less humanity, more artificial stuff nobody wanted, but you matter more than ever.
Keep reading this thread.
Job market sucks like it never ever did. From having no diploma to prestigious graduations, it's all of a gambling. Some get selected fast, some still seek for a job after a year or two.
Nothing of that defines you or your skills. The market's getting tougher because of stock-lovers getting bonkers
If you've been laid off, that's none of your fault either. I hope y'all find a way back to getting a decent income, with more respect for your integrity this time.
I really wish the current system collapses and goes back to something centered on human strenghts.
As I heard, France's disability system kind of mixed. If you disclose stuff in your resume, you're hardly being hired, and if rejected for that, it's illegal. But some'd do it silently anyway.
Mental health awareness makes more people being recognized. We're human, imperfect; it's also not a trend.
Society in itself seem to want normality, a bias where no one fits in. And that makes us feel bad for being who we are, disabled or not.
Sometimes you'd still need to fake it till you make it, but it's important to drop the mask when you feel safe aound peeps that want you for who you are.
This timeline is difficult, but nothing of politics, economics, people that judge, criticize or put you down matter. You're worthier than the altered image they project on your person/group of people/ethnicity/religion/prefs.
We all know what we're capable of. Let's rise and shine.
Please have the courage to look in the mirror, whatever you think your flaws are (not having a job yet, not having a relationship just yet). You chose no hardship, no stigma, no toughness. It's out of your control. Y'all can't blame yourselves for that.
Take time, according to your emergencies obv.
You're someone great, with a lot of qualities. Defaults too maybe, but who has not? It'd be boring to be perfect.
I hope these times get better for you. This timeline encourages me to pursue mental health content in every variations and forms, because yall got to be really chill on yourselves.
A note on pride month, y'all matter in your own ways. Keep shining and showing your true colors, lift away that stare from trans/homo -phobes/whatever haters/dismissive looks on your own person.
Also any harm in subdomains being illegal/immoral (P/Zp/Zs) will NEVER be part of our pride.
Thanks for reading, it might sound a bit nonsensical, I was just rambling, but I hope it finds you well.
Peace out
Also this thread is also an outlet for yall, feel free to rant too
