Man Jumps Into Freezing NYC River To Save A Drowning Dog :
A poor dog named Harper was adopted by Erin O’Donnell from North Shore Animal League in March 2017. Quickly  Erin and Harper became good friends.“She is a sweetheart but very anxious outside and around strangers,” O’Donnell told The Dodo.On Saturday when Erin was performing with the Brooklyn Irish Dance Company in Manhattan, Harper and the dog walker were struck by a wayward motorist. The poor Harper sustained some injuries and she was thus frightened and stunned and she runs and jumped right in East River. Harper was in  danger and would need help
