So I just remembered a scene from the finale, Codron tells Daryl how hard it was to put his brother down and Daryl goes “I can imagine”.

As if he didn’t have to do the same to his brother, as if Merle didn’t exist and loosing his brother was one of the most traumatic things that have ever happened to him
