This historic summer stock theatre with Broadway pretensions is currently accepting resumes for a Sound Engineer/Designer for our 2020 Summer Season which includes productions of Noel Coward chestnut, play that was hot on Broadway fifteen years ago, musical that is too big for us, two person cast musical, mysteriously evergreen musical, play no longer under copyright, and another damn Elvis musical. Impossible schedule. You will mix the shows and design the shows and never sleep and constantly have to educate the producers about sound for the same amount of money engineers make at other companies. There is housing.

so much work, so little money

Producer you probably have never heard of is looking for a lighting designer for Project (also the rest of our season, but this is the priority right now). We need someone to design, hang (move), focus, and program the lights. They also need to be here for two tech rehearsals. If they want to operate that would be wonderful, but not required. Pay is $350.

Tech is a week away.

In addition to that, we are looking for a place to rent portable sound systems. Right now we are just looking for quotes for 10 mics, a board, and speakers. 

Hope that rental budget is bigger than their labor budget! Yikes.
