How would Paimon feel about some of the religions that have sprung up since his Fall, namely amongst the Hellborn demons? How would he feel about one particular family of the Goetia worshipping Lilith?
paimon thinks mortal religions are laughable , he's more amused than offended in most cases although the lucifer trash talk & the usage of satan & him interchangeably would definitely have caused him to eat a human or twelve in his time. he knows how important hope & a dream is but ultimately , he's a demon king & a hypocrite <333
there's absolutely been some group of humans that's worshipped [ paimon ] before & he probably rewarded before .. murdering them because it's paimon once again & they probably summoned him. i've also vaguely talked about paimon's involvement in witchcraft due to his hand with the heavenly bodies [ stars , moons , planets , yk ] so there's a bunch more stuff there but that's besides the point here.
as for hellborn demons he's just like really ? this the hill you'll choose to die on knowing all you do ? he can let most pass & brush it off but i think as soon as it goes into a figure " saving " them he's like -- lets be real now , you don't want anything to do with heaven. fucking fools !! worshiping their respective sin hes come to expect it , the same way he likes the goetia at his own beck & call. it doesn't bother him for the most part.
paimon primarily follows lucifer both as his most devoted / loyal follower & on a more familiar level. he trusts him inexplicably ; like just an intense amount of power over him that doesn't even have to do with the king of hell title ( as much as paimon does like power. ) so lucifer's marriage to lilith extended that same devotion , paimon would do anything for either of them.
as long as the goetia aren't directly disregarding disobeying one for the other , he'd generally be fine with it. those are his morningstars !! ( this is of course going off the assumption that lilith isn't maliciously effecting lucifer / charlie. if it's actual betrayal with heaven's involvement & not some other reasoning ... 💀💀💀 that would probably change things quite a bit !! )
the closest thing i can believe of paimon ever wanting good for others in general is the morningstar family. which is still. warped & diced with a side of obsession & a will kill for you undercurrent but as far as paimon goes !! it's ... oddly "good" for him lmao. whether that means some people worshiping lilith or lucifer or charlie's hotel working out.
