PB.Skatestuck - New Years Eve

I don’t think I could call this an official next meetup, but more of a like “if you guys are interested” kind of thing. I’ve been dying to ice skate again ever since our meetup, it was so much fun, and maybe you want to skate again, too?

Apparently the Ice Skate Zone is having a New Years Eve event, here’s their online flyer:

I’ve called them already and they said it doesn’t really have to be from ages 13-18 but more like 13 and up, plus we all look like teens mostly anyway LOL. But anyway, my friends and I might be going to this because we don’t really have New Years Eve plans yet.. and I’m welcoming you all to join if you’d like!! I probably won’t be cosplaying this time, but you can if you want? lol.

You have to call and RSVP to reserve your ticket, so if you think you’ll be going, I would do that asap!!

We're trying to plot out a little New Year's meetup that'll be some kind of picnic thing with activities and such, including a little gift exchange, to hopefully happen New Years' Day.

Once we iron out details, we'll make another post that'll better explain everything, but (for the time being) make sure to mark your calendars!

Less than a week until the meetup!!

Just a reminder that the this Palm Beach Ice Skating meetup is coming up! This Sunday the 23rd we’ll be meeting at the PB Skate/Ice Zone at 5:30pm and we’ll be there until 8pm+, etcetcetc.

Also a reminder to please rsvp!! Thankfully, a few of you have already done so and I’m excited to see we’re expecting around 15-20 people; that’s including myself and my friends. If we do have 20 people we can get a few bucks discounted on our tickets I think!

I'll probably hang out where you first go into the beach area from the parking lot. I'll be in plain sight, but keep your eyes peeled since we won't have the usual grey skin and horns to spot out people easily as usual.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT CONCERNING BEACHSTUCK

I goofed on the dates and forgot to consider that Cantown in Hollywood is on the same day.

And seriously go support Cantown that day, every donation counts!

Beachstuck will be moved to the 16th of December, so on Sunday. The original post is edited, but make sure you all mark the right date!

Sunday Dec. 16th - Beachstuck!

Palm Beach County's celebrating the holidays with the best way Florida can in winter - by having a beach party!

We'll be meeting at Lantana Public Beach (right off of E. Ocean Blvd and A1A) from 12-4 P.M.

Bring water, sunblock, snacks, and some cash for ice cream nearby.

Cosplay is optional if you're okay with sand getting in your wig!

No horseplay as usual, and be respectful of other beach attendants.

There will be a raffle for a squiddle plush, so be sure to make it.

The Central Floridastucks are going to have the meetup/photoshoot/promstuck(?) on lock for sure, but if you want to see a few friendly faces at Mega, we'll be there for sure

Hey PBCstuck, any chance you think we could do a weekend moviestuck meetup to watch Wreck It Ralph or that Guardians movie (when it comes out) or something? U: Just something simple and maybe go out to eat after!

Sounds like an excellent idea! We'll probably do something for the Guardians movie since that's after ChibiPa/ShadoCon and all, but we'll probably schedule that moviestuck along with another event we've been tossing around.

Partying it up at Fright Nightstuck!

The *~OFFICIAL~* post so everything is confirmed and all.

We'll be meeting SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13th by the ticket booths at 6:12.

Cosplay is optional, but keep in mind that you have to go casually. We don't want crazy wigs or make-up that distracts attendants from the actors trying to make cash.

Bring cash for food, the mods are going to hang out there until midnight so you may get hungry or thirsty.

No horseplay, and keep cursing to a minimum. Running from frights is different than outwardly being inappropriate.

If you scare easily, there are bright places you can stick around that are pretty much a no-scare zone. Lots of carnie games and all, so there's always that option!

Updates (9/27-10/13):

The Homecoming Week…stuck! dates will be moving to: October 10th-14th. 

The “Float” (Banner) theme is: Medium Shenanigans, meaning anything related to SBURB in-game mechanics is fair game, as long as it’s MSPA worksafe…And, of course, related to South Floridastuck in some way. That means Meetup pictures, Photoshoots, Drawn pictures and anything in between works fine! (For those asking, SFLstuck’s Mascot is Jane; and the related tags are #HCWstuck and #Homecoming Weekstuck)

Homestuck Day at the Morikami will be moved to later in the year, to make room for other meetups!

Universalstuck’s price will be: $75 for the bus and park tickets, as far as calculations go currently. Paypal information will be up within a week.

PBCstuck’s Fright Nightsstuck event is on Saturday, October 13th. 

Don’t forget! Chibi-Pa’s Photoshoot will be taking place on the 17th of November, At 4:13 PM by the pool. Be there or be a scalene triangle! After the shoot is Promstuck!

On Halloween night itself, there aren't many meetups planned, iirc? Though, there's a meetup later in November! Most of the Halloween meetups are happening in Miami or Broward, I believe?

Fright Nightsstuck?

Fright Nights, of course, is a half midway, half scare house event that comes to the South Florida Fairgrounds every year at Halloween time. So! Some time during October, we could have our first meetup (for pbcstuck) at the "fair".

The only difference between Fright Nightsstuck and Fairstuck is...Parts of this event are definitely not recommended for those who get scared easily. There's a Midway area where anyone who is too afraid of running into ghouls, scary pop-outs or flashing lights may want to hang out, only because the main theme of Fright Nights is just that! To give you a Fright-filled night.

So, if anyone is interested in going, let us know!
