The kind daughter of the Elf Elder (or Elfder as I call him.) Phoebe is strongly devout to the elven mother goddess, Fayora. As such, she's against murder and cruelty, openly speaking out against any elves that partake in harsh punishments. When her old classmates start going missing, told to be dead, she starts investigating. Especially since the blame seems to be pinned on one very sharky human.

Soooo,,, Yeah!!!! I’m completely normal abt him I promise. Anyways, bcuz he has the little angler fish light I thought it would be rlly cool to lean into it (+ it lowkey references his trans identity which PEAK)
- I FUCKING FORGOT HIS NECKLACE IM FAKE
- so bcuz anglerfish have those little fugly dot eyes I referenced that with having the sclera be darker, the iris would be his usual eye colour, and the pupil would be a dot to—again—be a reference to the stupid ugly tiny dot eyes
- his mouth opens waaaayyy wider like past his lips bcuz anglerfish have TOILET BOWL MOUTHS (/j) and also bcuz I thought it would look cool asl so liiikkkkeeeeeuuuuhhh,,,
- I gave him extra fins but the pre-existing fins were changed to be based off of—you’d never guess—ANGLERFISH!! WHOA!!!!
- gave the cutie gills on his neck, will definitely give him some on his ribs near his lungs too when I draw him again
Sometimes I see someone with a "plus-sized" oc and it's just a person with huge boobs and a mid-sized waist and I'm like??? Bro, where are the rolls? Why isn't the face rounded? Give them some meat elsewhere, damn it! There's more than just boobs! DRAW THE SKIN FOLDS, COWARDS!
I’ve just got to ask—is there any plans and ideas for UTBM Kalei?? Not in game, but just general miscellaneous thingys about him 👀
I mainly want to know if he has a confirmed/canon job or not since I have him down as their rehab worker
He won't be a major main character or even a support character in any of the main storylines Sam and I are thinking up (currently), but I did have some ideas on just what he would be doing in the background of the setting
I do reeeeally like the idea of Kalei being a rehab worker, as there is a lot of casual and addictive use of illegal dosages of drugs. Kalei was inspired to go into that line of work because a family member passed away due to an overdose. (I haven't decided if it was an uncle/ aunt or one of his parents yet)
Kalei is of a relatively small minority of non-bipedal people. In Pangea, if you're missing a leg or some other body part, science has advanced so far that they can regrow those parts so long as some majority of your body is intact. And if they can't or someone wants, they can have advanced prosthetics equipped to help them. Kalei, however, doesn't meet the traditional standards for these types of procedures because, well, he doesn't view himself as "disabled" because he CAN very much move around fine, it just has to be in water. And most, if not all, of human society is on land. To become bi-pedal he would have to literally seperate himself from his tail, his gift, and he finds that very upsetting.
Before his hydration sleeve, he would have to be moved around in a pretty heavy tank to get from place to place. So there are large periods of time where he was homebound. probably had to be homeschooled around his teens as his tank was just too big and it became too dangerous to go out alone .
He was most definitely picked on by other kids in school and seen as a lower human being because he is wheelchair-bound.
His hydration sleeve was made by UTBMverse Mitts, who, at a very young age, were visiting Mount Tech on a school trip where Kalei would get his tank chair fixed/ or replaced. Mitts proposed to one of the staff there that instead of a big fish bowl, they make a "big ol sock" that keeps Kalei's tail hydrated and drew up the schematics in her notebook.
To this day, Mitts and Kalei are friends and repair and make new sleeves for him so he can go about his days more easily.
Kalei's gift awoke when he went to the beach with his family. One minute he was in the shallow end, the next, he was swimming all over the place with a newly grown fin!
Kalei does not miss his legs, as even when he had them, he felt frustrated and hot all the time.
His room is an indoor pool, with the inside of the pool having special sea-themed furniture fixed to the bottom and walls.

General
I made this for fun bcuz why not + I had some personal things I wanted to do that I thought was pretty cool!! Be warned though, I’ll be talking abt a lot of changes I made both visible and not in the designs
They share some similarities like the sharp teeth but it’s for two different reasons I promise. One of them was born with sharp teeth whereas the other started to grow them over time

I’ve already posted his design that I have for him in the past but I wanted to see him in colour, sooooo….
To me, he’s always been in his thirties but I also could’ve sworn he was taller?? That’s what happens when you use your own hcs too much I suppose LMAO
Since Archangels become whole ass DRAGONS I thought I’d even out his dragon and “human” form a bit more by adding some meat to his bones
Adding onto the whole dragon-thing I gave him larger wings for his dragon form
It isn’t the most obvious but on his neck he has dots from his dragon form + little swirlies on his joints
He has baggy, tired eyes with dark circles, smile lines, and darkened(?) backs-of-the-wrists from nervously picking at them
Textured hair
His iris is based off Archangel’s halo
I kept the robe thing relatively the same but more based off Angel statues + I wanted his robe to be more flowy so that when it’s down it shares Kalei’s water motif
Dragon belt with loops to loosely mimic a tail + the head has a very tiny red to reference the seraph’s giant eye in the centre of their forehead
Pouch for things like water to purify and simple medical supplies for the trips
His crown is triangular as a reference to Archangel again
His teeth are yellow bcuz let’s be real his ass is smoking blunts
Simplified shark teeth instead of dots on tattoos

I made him older to be in his 30s-40s bcuz like yeah he’s related to [hush hush spoilers] and it makes sense as to why he’d age slower but also it’s SUCH a drastic difference between he and Kalei so I thought “fuck it, why not??” and aged him up
Went ahead and added a WEE inch to his height
Bcuz of how much physical labour he’s doing CONSTANTLY I went ahead and gave him more muscle + gave him a stomach bcuz he drinks frequently
His wings are tall but slim/thin since he’s still a Powers and is meant to accommodate for the Powers form he once had
I gave him facial hair bcuz again I thought it would be cool and he has bigger shit to worry about
Yes his “girl mode” has facial hair too I will DIE on that hill
More worn out colours on clothes from repeated wear
Simpler but still dignified clothes for easy changing
Also given a satchel to make his rounds around Limbo a little easier with on hand supplies
