Yk that new project? Since the world is rlly cool and idk if Kalei will be in there I drew a Kalei! And since I drew a Kalei I had to draw an Andres
And bcuz I drew and Andres expect a Penelope soon (Andres and Kalei have two kids being Penelope and one who I haven’t introduced yet so idk if I’ll draw the second one juuuussttt yet BUT I will once I draw them for the main repurpose game)

Part 1
Andres Alain S. Kanahele (he/him): An artsy man in his late 30s with a passion for writing and reading. While he does do other things, this happens to be his forte! He may be the town’s library owner but you’re more likely to find him in a corner reading a book, writing a poem or journaling, or maybe finding new recommendations for his husband to enjoy! He makes sure that the library is the perfect place for any kind of person in any situation whether it’s a family with small children looking for a fun little spot to read, a student needing a comfortable spot to study, or maybe a date if you so feel, his library is the perfect environment. Just be sure to keep quiet!
- Gift: Foresight. He sees the future and all the possible streams of time that it has to offer him or the target of who he wants to see through the eyes of. Unfortunately it gives him headaches so he has special painkillers </3

Kalei Kanahele (he/him): A man in his late 30s with a bleeding heart who wants to see the worst of the crowd come back to good. He’s a rehabilitation nurse who specializes in rehabilitating people addicted to drugs. Due to the variety of suppressant medications for various gifts, addictions are fairly common. Where some see the scum of the earth, he sees the broken. As such, he wants to see to it that he can help them return to normal life. Not only would it better the community that he lives among, but it would be safer for him and his family as well.
- Gift: Telepathy. He can communicate with anyone without needing to speak verbally, use his hands, or really do anything that could give away a conversation. Since the target hears a voice in their head, people who are deaf or hard of hearing can hear him too! Unfortunately this also means he has scared multiple people many times on accident or led to awkward situations where the person he would talk to would think they’re having a verbal conversation but ends up looking crazy. Also causes migraines for himself and others if used on more than 30 people or if the inner voice is too loud <///3

Fun facts!!
- They met when they were in their early twenties when they were still students in what is now Andres’ library.
- They would study next to each other but would rarely talk. Kalei ended being the one to study more, though. Andres would be writing next to him for fun.
- They liked each other’s company. A comfortable silence without being alone.
- They tend to communicate mostly through Kalei’s telepathy in the library.
- They got married after three/four years of dating. Kalei proposed.
- Adopted Penelope when she was around 10 a year after their wedding.
- In the morning, Andres always takes a look into his their days just in case something bad happens in a certain stream of time.
- Kalei tries to intercept nightmares if he thinks Andres is having one.
- Andres packs lunches for everyone and generally likes being in charge of the house.
- Always a new book or poem added to Kalei’s ever growing collection that he needs to catch up on. For every book he finishes, there’s about five more and ten new poems that Andres got and made for him.
- Both authoritative parents.
- Kalei helps out in the library when he’s free.
- Kalei worsened Andres’ headache once and felt like the worst person in the world.
- Andres, despite being a book geek, performatively drinks tea for the sake of aesthetic. Realistically he drinks black coffee three times a day.
- Kalei has done karaoke while both speaking allowed and accidentally using his telepathy without having a control on the inner voice’s volume. Left Andres half dead from sheer pain in his head. /j
