Right after making the initial sketches for this I high fives my girlfriend’s hand with my face and she yelled at me.

The last slide is the most important to me right now. There is growing violence and harassment towards East Asian and Italian people. But misinformation, racism, and discrimination have always existed and have continued to hurt all kinds of people. Let’s work together to end the spread of hatred forever. [027] Growing Pains Pt 4

I post this with the disclaimer that I was very lucky to be in a school district where roughly 30% of my high school student body was queer, and so many of my friends had already come out, so I already knew my friends would be okay with me coming out too. I am also very, very lucky that my parents were very accepting too. My grandparents aren’t too keen on it, as they’re very religious, but they still say I’m their favorite and it’s not perfect but I’m grateful for that too.
