I sorta got the impression just on body language that Skwisgaar was like. kinda intimidated and cowed by Magnus. He didn't really get to shine until Magnus got thrown out of the band.

I can’t reply through the replies but just know I’m nodding my head rlly hard bc I can agree with this. I feel like they had obvious spats now and then but you can truly tell, bc of Requiem, that once Magnus was kicked from the band that his ego was in full swing by how much he was trying to convince them they didn’t need another guitarist.

Also me listening to DEADFACE: It’s one of the only times you can hear the bass in the songs and it’s the fact Skwisgaar is the one leading it. Skwisgaar is the only one who even NOTICED anything was wrong with Murderface. And the fact the only thing you hear at the end is the bass and guitar playing slowly (other than the cymbal at the end) and-and-and-

I think whenever you’re making Toki content it’s important to keep his whimsy but you gotta make him just a little off putting. It’s important (to me).
