➼kageyama pulls the classic “i need a tutor” excuse. will text you asking for help and when you agree and get there he’s not doing any actual studying,,, like what are you even doing there LMFAOO. he’s just awkwardly chatting you up the whole time, his book isn’t even OPEN. he’s gonna say some dumb shit like “we should go to my house it has better wifi”…… ok kags let’s go ugh

➼akaashi pulls the opposite, in which HE tries to convince YOU that you need a tutor…..he doesn’t mean for it to come out that way but to you it sounds like “you’re dumb as fuck and you need my help” LMFAOOOO akaashi baby…..do better. ugh ok but you’re gonna take him up on it bc he’s smart and cute so it’s FINE, you’ll probably end up getting a better grade as a result anyway

➼why do i feel like suna really isn’t even gonna try to make an excuse though…he’ll be like “oh can i come over i think i found your lost dog” and you’re like “i don’t have a dog” and he’s like “damn that’s crazy can i still come over though” LMAOOOO (this part is inspired by @ahtsumu​ please suna is so fucking weird i hate him)….are you gonna let him come over though? yes rin, key is under the mat!!!

➼oikawa is actually good at this though i feel. like he KNOWS what to say. he makes excuses to come over that are both valid, believable, and just a LITTLE flirtatious because he likes to keep em guessing LMFAO. he’ll probably suggest something cute too ugh like “finals are coming up, we should go see the stress dogs together” (do yall know the stress dogs….i hope so) ugh he’s so cute oikawa marry me challenge

➼sakusa doesn’t need an excuse, YOU’RE inviting HIM over. LMAO he won’t make an excuse to see you but he lowkey would drop hints that he wants you to invite him over…..then when you do he’ll act all annoyed ab it like “ugh ok only after you clean your room” (on the inside he’s so happy pls)……omi i would clean my room 100x for you just say the word

➼osamu is kinda cute with it though…..asks if you can taste test this new recipe he’s trying out, is like “oh i can drop a few samples off at your house in a few” and ofc you’re gonna say yes, free food and cute boy?? sign me up baby!!!! he ends up staying for way longer than intended but no one is mad about it (the food is good too ugh king)

➼atsumu TRULY thinks he’s very smart about it. THINKS. he will do the weirdest shit like stealing your pencil in class or like swiping your water bottle off your desk and then text you later like “oh i found your water bottle, do you want me to drop it off?” and you’re like “uh yeah suna told me he watched you take it” LMFAO rin stop messing w atsumu’s game !!! he’s doing his best !!!

➼ushi doesn’t try to use an excuse, doesn’t need one, he’s going in for the kill. straight up texts you like “i want to see you right now, can i come over?” (god i would die WE’RE BEGGGINGGGGG) and what are you going to do??? say no?? OFC NOT. probably brings takeout because he thinks it’s rude to show up without a little “gift” ugh……i love him

He’s really upset by this, but also a little too stubborn to just apologize and get back in bed with you. He waits until you’re asleep then sneaks into the living room quietly and makes himself a little bed on the floor next to the couch and you. You wake up with him sleeping uncomfortably beside you. 

Daichi: 

Simply will not let you. “No, go sleep in the bed. I’ll sleep here instead. I don’t want you to be uncomfortable, it’s not good for you!” Which probably starts another argument until you both end up in bed together too exhausted to continue arguing with one another, let alone remember why you were mad at him in the first place. 

Tsukishima 

He shuts the door and locks it. You have to text him to let you back in. 

Ushijima: 

Also, just a no. Will carry you back into the bedroom. Why would you sleep on the couch when you have a very large bed? You can turn away from him if you’re mad… but he won’t let you. He cuddles you through your anger <3 

Oikawa: 

Oh my god, he makes it so much more dramatic then it needs to be. He has a blanket wrapped around him, sitting on the floor in front of the couch, just talking and talking and talking to convince you tog et back into bed. You probably do because he either won’t shut up and you’re tired of hearing it or he starts to cry and you start to feel bad.  

Bokuto: 

He tries to sleep on the couch with you. Even if the couch is small, he’s trying to squeeze on it with you, and probably on top of you. You’re not sleeping int he same house as him and not sharing a sleeping surface. 

Akaashi: 

He probably just sighs and stands in the doorway watching you before deciding you’re being too stubborn to argue with. “I’m leaving the door open if you want to come back to bed, as you should.”

he sends you songs that remind him of you or convey the messages he’s always wanted to tell you better than he ever could — at this point he should just create a whole playlist

makes sure to record the programme whenever you won’t be home in time for when that one movie you’ve always wanted to watch finally airs on tv

finishes your assignment essay up for you when you accidentally fall asleep halfway through writing it. he also helps with submitting said essay — now, you can either ask him about it and make fun of him with how much he’s in love with you, which 90% of the time ends with you doing something for him in return because two can play at that game, or you can pretend to not know anything and go on with your day!

would tease you every chance he gets but when someone else decides to tease you the same way, he’d bark at them with no bit of remorse. not literally of course, but he won’t hesitate to do that either if he really has to

he ties your shoelace for you whenever he sees that it had come loose. you get embarrassed when he does this of course, given that the gesture is almost always done in public, but he just tells you that he’d rather swallow his pride for this than watch you trip and fall

KOZUME KENMA

always picks up your call even as he’s in the middle of a game and is being simultaneously attacked by multiple people. when asked if he’s busy, he’d only reply with a curt “no” while quietly struggling to keep his game character alive

he lets you play with his hair and he makes it a point to remind you that you are the only person he allows to do so. it’s to make you feel special

sometimes you’re a blanket hog in bed and although it pains him to do this, he always just lets you have it all to yourself

we all know he’s generally a very quiet guy, and this major fact applies to when the both of you have your meals too. which is why he’s always asking you “how does the food taste?”. he honestly doesn’t even care about how the fried chicken you’re having is juicy *sobs* he just wants to start up a conversation so you don’t find him boring and end up leaving him or something

notices every! little! thing! you got a haircut? got a new pair of earrings? maybe you painted your nails? just ask him if he notices anything different? and he’ll give you the answer you want to hear

SAKUSA KIYOOMI

when you’re out on a date and you come across a spot in town that has an aesthetic background/beautiful scenery, he always asks if you want him to take pictures of you (UGLY CRIES)

he carries an extra bottle of hand sanitizer with him all the time even if his own bottle hasn’t even neared half its initial amount. when asked about it, he tells you that he brings it for you (MORE UGLY CRYING!!!)

would clear up your work desk for you if he notices that it’s gotten a little too messy. he knows that you’re a busy person and that you can barely make time for yourself, so he does the tidying up for you (and he does it UNPROMPTED.... 😿😵❤️)

sometimes he’d purposely match his outfit with yours just to hear you laugh at the ‘coincidence’. if you offer to change, he tells you not to (AND I PERSONALLY WOULD NEVER!!! WHO WOULD GIVE UP THE CHANCE TO MATCH WITH SAKUSA KIYOOMI ANYWAY⁉️‼️)

writes (attempted) cute messages on colourful sticky notes that are really just cheesy and motivating puns he got off google. nevertheless, it’s endearing and what makes it more fun is that he leaves them at places you least expect them (yeah... isn’t this cute. it’s so cute i can’t stop thinking about it)

SUNA RINTAROU

he leaves some (if not all) of his fries for you even when you have clearly told him you don’t want any — he just knows you’ll wind up asking for some anyway, and in most cases, he’s right

suna isn’t exactly the best cook, but just for you, he had learned the recipe of your favourite food. took him a lot of time and effort (along with buckets of his blood, sweat and tears) but now he's a master at it, albeit it’s the only thing he knows how to make without fearing for his life

once, you saw him giggling to himself while he’s on his phone, and you obviously got suspicious about it. the suspicion, however, decended just as fast as it had ascended when you got a text notification from him. he had sent you this video

if you tell him at like 3 am that you’d just woken up from a scary nightmare, expect him to be outside of your house in exactly 10 minutes (the most is 15) with a fat bag of snacks and his hoodie

always makes you choose things for him because he trusts your opinions more than his own (seriously... he is ready to marry u lol)

there is absolutely no reason behind me writing this other than the fact that i’m sad and need a tsukishima

ngl he was SUPER nervous when he found out he was going to be a dad because for one, he knows he’s not exactly the sweetest lamppost on the street and he’s insecure about being able to take care of a child right

but you know for a fact that despite how salty tsukishima tends to be, he has a good heart and will be an amazing father

you: it’s okay, shrek was also nervous about having a kid in the third movie

tsukishima: did you just compare me to shrek??

i’m sorry i’ll stop adding shrek references to everything

he’s also thrown off a bit by your pregnancy because now he realizes he has to be a bit more attentive to your needs

most of the time he’s just like ‘??? are you ??? okay ?? can i ?? help ???’

tsukishima really wants to be able to help but you also have to explain directly what you need help with

after a while he starts to get into the motion of things. he’ll be up early to make you some tea to help with your morning sickness 

one time he came home with your favorite ice cream flavor because he anticipated you would be craving it and you almost cried

tsukishima does have his little soft moments with you though. sometimes he’ll be spooning while you sleep and place a protective hand over your belly

surprisingly, he’s really calm when you start to go into labor. in the cab ride on the way to the hospital he’s holding your hand and helping you with your breathing

he’s still really calm up until they wheel you over to the emergency room and tsukishima immediately erupts in a panic

he’ll be in the bathroom washing his face over and over again because he doesn’t know what to do before calling akiteru and yamaguchi

they already both know what’s up and try to keep tsukishima calm up until the nurse comes out to say that both you and your baby are fine

inside the room, he sees you already tired but still somehow sitting up to nurse your newborn daughter 

he doesn’t ask to hold her but you can see it on his face so you offer to let him and the look on his face is just so soft when his daughter wraps her little hand around his fingers

excuse me i’m just going to go cry for a bit

tsukishima would be a very responsible type of dad. he’s very good at remembering to wash the feeding bottles and pack extra diapers when you go out

he’s not really the playful type BUT tsukishima is definitely the kind of dad who’d read stories to your kid

sometimes you’ll pass by your daughter’s bedroom and catch him lying on the bed, reading her a book and you can’t help but stand by and watch him

he’ll arrange the dino plushies all around her after tucking her in

because tsukishima doesn’t mind bringing your daughter to work after school, the museum eventually becomes sort of like her playground

it’s so cute everyone who works in the museum knows her and she just spends the rest of the day going around the exhibits

OMG FATHER-DAUGHTER BONDING WHILE TSUKISHIMA ORGANIZES EXHIBITS

you’ll often pass by the museum after work to find your husband and daughter fixing an exhibit together and she’s asking a million questions and tsukishima’s patiently answering all of them

the three of you LOVE having family movie nights or playing board games together 

there was this one time your daughter and tsukishima were conspiring against you but then at the last minute she betrayed him and won the entire game

he’s also the type of dad to tease his kid a lot because he can and he loves to bring up embarrassing moments all the time

anon: Hello!! Can I request some fluff with everyone’s fav diligent farm boy timeskip! Kita taking care of his pregnant wife? Please and thanks, I love your work. :’)

omg this is so adorable ahhhhhhh also it’s my first kita request so i’m really happy and excited to write for him. i’ve got way too many ideas atm so i’ll be writing some hc’s for this first but i might end up turning one of them into a short drabble hehe

ok before i get into pregnant!reader i just have to talk about how you and kita got together because setting and context plus it’s just super cute

you live in a provincial town that has a lot of, you guessed it, farmland and you also manage a local diner that serves food local to the area

kita was actually your neighbor and being the sweet person that you are, you decided to make food for him when he moved in and it was pretty much love at first sight for you two

eventually, you found out kita was a rice farmer and you offered to sustain his business by buying your rice from him and also advertising it to the people who visited your diner

you’re like #supportlocalbusiness especially if that local business is a handsome rice farmer 

eventually, kita finds the courage to ask you out and you say yes and the two of you begin dating from that point on

most of your dates are just exploring the different natural sites around the town or just sitting at your front porch and talking all throughout the night

kita didn’t think he was moving fast at all when he made the decision to ask to marry you after just a few months of dating. for him, you two just clicked and he couldn’t think of any other reason not to

also he kind of knew that you were The One when he brought you to see his grandmother and you peeled tangerines for her and massaged her back

your wedding was small and simple but you invited a lot of dear friends. atsumu and osamu were on their best behavior the entire day (except for when they were both bawling after you and kita said your vows)

kita probably cried when he saw you walking down the aisle oh my god now i’m crying too fuck fUCK–

anyway it was a very beautiful and memorable day for the both of you

kita had always wanted kids and so did you so you were both thrilled when he found out you were pregnant

actually, kita could kind of tell before you did because you were practically glowing, he even bought the pregnancy test for you and everything 

when you walked out of the bathroom with a mixture of shock and excitement on your face, his suspicions were just further confirmed

he ran to you and kissed you on the forehead, saying “now our family can grow even more.”

kita was just such a good partner for you to have as you went through your pregnancy. he’s actually better at remembering when you should take your vitamins or go for check-ups than you are

he naturally wakes up really early to go to work but this time, he’ll be waiting for you to wake up first to help you to the bathroom especially because you have terrible morning sickness

during the first few months of your term, you’re still pretty okay with running the diner all by yourself. a lot of the diner visitors love to coo over your growing baby bump too and sometimes you’ll let kids touch it

kita loves walking into the diner to find you talking excitedly with one of your customers about how your pregnancy has been coming along

at night, when you’re especially tired, kita would massage your aching feet and run you a nice, hot bath and wash your hair

to be honest, he didn’t take into account that you’d have really intense pregnancy cravings especially the fact that you’d wake up in the middle of the night and couldn’t fall asleep until you’ve eaten what you want

kita: are you, by any chance, still open?

osamu: kita, you do know it’s midnight, right?

kita: y/n’s craving 

osamu: …okay, what does she need?

kita is also there for your more emotional needs as you go through your pregnancy

he can’t help but notice how you’d keep looking at yourself in the mirror, noticing the changes in your body that you don’t really love, and reassures you that you’ve just grown even more beautiful to him in his eyes

at one point, he went shopping and bought you this really beautiful maternity dress and a bouquet of flowers and you felt gorgeous in that dress

kita shinsuke: husband of the year

also he never laughs at you even when you suddenly cry at the most random things because your hormones are just out of whACK

there was this one time kita’s grandmother visited with baby clothes that she knitted and you took one look at them and started sobbing (parallelism with that time kita sobbed at the sight of his own jersey? YEAH)

you: they’re just… so small and cute… they’re so small…

kita: *rubbing your back* i know honey, i know

he also notices that you’re super affectionate and like playing with his hair tugging at the hem of his shirt when you want attention and it’s just ADORABLE in his eyes

knowing kita, he probably insisted on building the crib for your baby himself because he wanted it to be super special. it was just so sweet to watch him diligently work on the crib every day with a loving smile on his face as meticulously sanded the wood

the two of you probably don’t need to do much shopping for your baby because the inarizaki volleyball club keep sending you gifts

suna even sent you the cutest little baby blanket with little foxes embroidered on it (i am 100% willing to bet that he made it himself)

as your due date approaches, kita decides to take some time off work to take care of you more and also to just relax before the baby comes and there’s less time to relax

the two of you pass the time with you making more baby clothes (somehow you picked up sewing or crocheting along the way) while kita spends some time tinkering around in your nursery

i swear kita has a fricking sixth sense. he was actually in the nursery when you had your first contraction and he immediately rushed into the bedroom, saw the look on your face, and called for a taxi

kita’s there to hold your hand and yell encouragements as you go through your labor 

and then he feels such an ache in his chest when he hears the sound of your baby crying 

he almost cries himself as he holds his own child in his arms for the first time before handing him to you so you could feed him

the entire time he just can’t help but be in awe at you for bringing his child into the world and he swears on his life that he’ll take care of you both for as long as he lives
