I don’t think it that people don’t want to ship maemir cause I saw a lot of people were ok with both until the end of episode 5 when she was left behind and people realized she was going to be his acolyte then episode 6 happened and we got so much interviews from manny to leslye that kinda set them up

Also I think people can’t look at Mae as equal dual protagonist along with Osha (which is funny cause same actress) so she gets reduce to side when it should be both they have equal screen time but I guess the writers truly wanted one female lead by the end and future season if we get it will focus on qimir but I just hope the black female lead doesn’t get push aside that what I’m most afraid of

Im assuming you are referring the post I retweeted? But if not, I still completely agree with your points.

People are gunna be drawn to characters, dynamics, and ships that they like, and there is nothing wrong with that. But it did make me scratch my head why Mae is perceived as a lesser important character when it's a Sister story. Could be just preference. That being said, Mae and Osha are the characters im rooting for first then Sol and Qimir second.

I also hope they don't push Amandla aside bc I'm gunna be frank, it was her character Mae that got me into watching this show. Then it was her plus Osha, Qimir, and Sol that got me invested.

I was so pumped for people to ship Mae and Qimir that I am totally blindsided with the Osha and Qimir. Like the line where he says "you look just like her" seemed like 'wow, look at this girl who is trying to pretend to be my student but is failing miserably' not 'wow this girl is special'.

I totally thought that Mae and Qimir would have fan fictions galore about them. I haven't finished the show yet, so maybe I will understand once I finish it.

Can I just say that outfit Osha was wearing was probably meant for Mae... And it fit Osha perfectly... Now I have thoughts of Qimir trying to figure out Mae's size to either buy the outfit or make it. And, him just wondering if the color and fabric is to his liking. Also thinking how that outfit doesn't suit Mae at all, because her own original outfit was cunty enough.
