A little about me:

I'm in my early 20s and I go by any pronouns

I have love for animals, wildlife conservation, arts and crafts and baking!

The goal of this this blog is to make people feel comfortable. I know a lot of people in this community struggle with feeling a lot of pressure from outside factors. I'm here to make cute and fun posts, answer your messsages (no matter if it's just to say hello, to tell me about your day, something you want to talk about or something that you're struggling with) and enjoy being here. I may not post frequently but I am here and I do listen :)

This isn't a caregiver blog, it loosely used to be but now it's focused on discussion, supporting the community, and whatever else :)

Some Interruptions to Negative Thoughts/Thought Spirals 🌀

- Maybe, Maybe Not

Effective, quick, works for a variety of scenarios. Will x bad thing happen??? Maybe, maybe not. Am I x??? Maybe, maybe not.

- Nope/Nuh uh/I don’t think so

Rejects the premise itself. Shuts down thoughts, but may need to be used repeatedly. Taking a silly tone can help.

- I’ll deal with things as they come, if they come

Allows for ambiguity. Not every bad thought it completely fictional, so it’s okay to admit that something difficult may happen. Worrying only makes you suffer twice, so let yourself worry when it’s warranted.

- Being good at worrying doesn’t make me good at predicting the future

We are great at thinking. We are not so great at thinking accurately about what will happen. Yes many things can happen, but imagination isn’t reality. Let reality happen without trying to figure it all out ahead of time.

- I know myself and so I trust I won’t do that

This works better as you build more self confidence. It’s important to remember that when distressed by thoughts of ways you might be bad that these are not real. If you know in this moment you don’t wish to do those things, try to wipe away a hypothetical in which you suddenly change into a worse person and do them. Trust your knowledge of yourself over your imagination.

- That’s a silly thing to worry over

Minimizes overblown fears. Doesn’t work for everything, but can absolutely help shut down the times where we find ourselves overthinking something rather ridiculous.

Anything that works for you when attempting to escape a loop of intrusive thoughts, anxiety, or depression is good. No one phrase or method is perfect, and many times you will try to redirect your thoughts and they’ll roll right back. You must keep gently guiding yourself away from fear, and trace a new path for your mind to follow. Take things one step at a time.

Boyre Fun Minecraft Texture Pack!!!. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁💎⛏️⋆.˚✮🦖✮˚.⋆

Decided to make a special treat for Agepril!!! It’s my first time making something like this but I wanted to share it with everyone! Some food has been turned into Zoopal plates, all paintings have been replaced with boyre themed images and there’s a couple more surprises in store including bundles! (Unfortunately only the Java version includes all of the proper bundle changes but Bedrock does get Scooby-Doo!)

I hope any little guys (or anyone else ofc!) enjoy this a lot! I hope to keep making more with different themes very soon. Feel free to vote below if there’s anything you’d be interested in or comment if what you’re looking for isn’t there!

Hello everyone :] It's been a while.

It's pretty clear that I haven't been very active here. But that might change! I was a teenager when I made this blog and at the time I was very aware about how putting yourself in a caregiver type roll can be iffy when you're that age. I was cautious about how it may end up feeling like a big responsibility, how there are a lot of people here ho need support, all that jazz. I still made the blog though because I wanted to support the community, and also because I liked coming off as a positive presence.

And it all went fine! Things are pretty quite on this side of tumblr and I was aiming more for providing resources and posting little snippets of comfort writings. Over time I haven't been writing as much and haven't been as tapped into the side of me I was sharing.

But I'd still like to keep this blog :) I'm going to experiment by shifting things a bit. I'm not going to be coming at this from a caregiving angle, I'm not going to be regression tumblrs big sibling, I won't be posting as if I'm enacting as that (I did always try to keep those creative writing posts from a 3rd point of view) I have always been wary about inserting myself into things and coming off as trying to encourage para-social attachment. I also won't be answering asks like that either, I am so so happy to be asked for advice or be told how people's days have been. I can be a really sociable person! I just won't be using pet names and such. Especially now that I'm older and some people here being in their teens :)

So instead of a caregiver blog, think of this as a blog centered around the community. I'll be sharing resources, informational posts, discussion and yeeees I'll still be sharing encouraging and comforting things :) I'll likely still be pretty quite, but let's see where things go!

Tip: make a list of things you wanted to do as a child but never got around to it or couldn't for any reason. This'll help you connect to who you were way back when, and maybe acting on or thinking about some of these things will help you feel some kind of closure.

mr. peapod? m new here, but do u have any tips for butch/tomboy/boyre puppy regressors? like specifically masc/sporty/outdoorsy pups? I have a mamae/handler/cg [ldr & he regresses too, but he's the bestest regaurdless!!], & the only gear i like/want/have is puppy collars! my puppy name is dash, like rainbow dash! ion know where else is good to go for petre advice :,3

Running! This one may sound a bit silly but running (especially in a foresty area) is really freeing! Feels really natural, too!

Similarly, spending time in nature! When I go out on walks & breathe in the fresh air I find it really fulfilling :o)

Soft bedding! I bought this fleece fitted sheet ages ago and now every night it feels like I'm sleeping in a fluffy dog bed! I think the brand was cozee home but I'm sure there's tons of places to get them from

If you like swimming, diving toys are a great way of feeling like you're playing fetch

And of course eating dry cereal or other dry snacks to simulate dog treats!

Sorry if these are a bit limited, I tried thinking of ones that I haven't seen as much. Good look puppy!

Hey. Your brain needs to de-frag. Literally it needs you to sit there and space out.

If you want your memory or executive function to improve, stare out a window at the skyline or sidewalk or trees or birds on the electrical wires for like 20+ minutes per day. (With no other stimulation like a podcast or TV if you can manage but hey baby steps innit). If you're fortunate enough to have safe outside with any bits of nature, go stare closely at a 1 meter square of grass and trip out on the bugs and shapes of grasses and stuff.

Literally this will make you smarter. Our brains HAVE TO HAVE this zone out time to do important stuff behind the scenes. This does not happen during sleep, it's something else.

That weird pressurized feeling you get sometimes might be your brain on no defrag.

Give your brain a Daily Dose Of De-Frag.

You don't have to simulate your childhood at all to regress. A lot of people use calling back on old memories as a tool to put them in a good headspace, or as a way to work through old, unprocessed emotions but you do not have to. there's no need to worry about remembering all the books you had on your shelf, or fret over re-capturing the magic of holidays you loved. No one is putting that pressure on you.

Your relationship with regression is whatever you want it to be, and it's okay to reinvent and create new experiences rather than ruminate on the past, even if it can be tricky. You're your own person and you've got this.
