Hopefully your walk is refreshing. Here's a few "make me admit" questions for you to consider when it's convenient:
74. What is your favorite book?
92. Do you want to get married?
Thanks for the ancient (April) invite. Hopefully these are still on time.I know you limit your time here, so no time pressure here.
the walk was really nice and as a treat now i eat some ice cream so its a nice evening!
74. OMG I dont really know, I can't really just pick one, I'm gonna list a few, in no particular order, that will always be close to my heart:
- Hellas of kings (polish title: ,,Hellada królów") by Anna Świderkówna - this one doesn't have english edition but i was so in love with it and i cannot not mention it; it's about wars of the Diadochi after death of Alexander the Great;
- Twelve Ceasars by Mary Beard - i deeply love Mary Beard and I could list here almost all of her books but let's stay with only this one;
- Gods, Graves and Scholars by C. W. Ceram
- Caesar and Philip and Alexander: Kings and Conquerors by Adrian Goldsworthy
- Memoirs of Hadrian by Marguerite Yourcenar
- Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
-The Rings of Saturn by W. G. Sebald
- Returning to Reims by Didier Eribon
- An Elemental Thing by Eliot Weinberger
I wanted to list even more but maybe its enough for now 😅
77. Well I'M IN LOVE right now, my boyfriend and I have been together for almost six years now 🥰
92. for most of my life i didn't wanted, but that changed some time ago and even we had some casual talks about that.
but what's important, same-sex marriages are not permitted in Poland, and I don't want to have a marriage that is not recognised by my country because it was taken abroad. I don’t know if or when this will change and Poland will allow same-sex marriages, but literally in the last few weeks a court ruling was handed down in Poland which forced officials to recognise marriages performed abroad, meaning that, whether it likes it or not, Poland now should recognise same-sex marriages, something it did not recognise previously. I don’t know how the situation will develop or whether the next government will want to reverse this, but if it works out that way, I think getting married abroad is an option and we will get our big greek wedding
thanks for your asks and have a good day!
