Hey! Thanks to all about this 200+ followers (221 to be honest). I can’t believe I got this far with Laughy Sapphy, Steven Universe Fandom is so nice that thanks to it I met a lot of funny people. Also the memes on my dashboard and the Steven Bomb and all was really funny. Hope this blogs continue like this getting bigger and bigger~

     Lapis is awash in a blue flame; the heat      crawls over her cheeks, nestles in the      hollow of her throat and simmers there,      unyielding. She hates blushing. She hates      even more the fact that Pearl’s words yield      such a reaction from her, hot shame welling      in the pit of her stomach. 

          She clears her throat and turns away,           if only to save face.

     ❝ I just…watched you guys do it a few times, ❞       she admits. ❝ It wasn’t that hard to figure out. ❞      In truth, she spent a lot of time watching the      Crystal Gems. If Steven wasn’t enthusiastically      showing her this or that, she was normally alone      and left to her own devices. She didn’t do much.      Observation came naturally; it also fostered her      naturally guarded habits, but that was a given.      She had to learn how to watch her own back.

     She is not prideful enough to turn her shoulder      and leave; the waters of Pearl’s keep are temperate      and flowing, not disturbed even as she takes a      careful step forward. ❝ Did you…choose for it to      look like this? The room, I mean. ❞

          Pearl sighs, arms creating an elongated ‘X’ over her chest. She wasn’t angry at Lapis, ‘angry’ was the wrong word. If anything, she simply didn’t understand the water gem. At the latter question, however; her face softened and she nodded.

       ‘ Yes, all of the gems designed our own rooms when the temple was first built. Personally, I think they’re a nice reflection of our distinct personalities. ’ Pearl watches Lapis, who seems to shift nervously and moves like a timid animal. With great care, the taller gem moves forward, a thin hand placing itself daintily upon the azure gem’s shoulder.  ‘ Lapis, ’ the name feels foreign on her tongue and Pearl fails to recall if she has ever called Lapis by name since she arrived, ‘ I... realize we’ve gotten off on the wrong foot. And our past relations haven’t exactly been the most peaceful, but... well, you’re one of us now, so it’s only fair that I treat you as an equal. ’

hHHOLY COW. ALRIGHT!! SO, as of tonight I’ve had this blog for three days, and it’s been the best three days I’ve ever had with a blog before, period. Getting back into my Lapis muse after putting her down for such a long time was one of the best ideas I’ve never had tbh, and I’m really excited to be interacting with all you nerds. (By the time I’m writing this it’s actually more like a 120+ bias list because my shitposting brought u memers flocking.)
