I really like the headcanon that Jinx has cold skin, while Kid Flash turns into a human furnace when he gets overheated. I think it would be really cute if she helped cool him down (assuming she survives his heat)

I love imagining what kind of media Jinx might be into. While Wally's more of a science nerd and prefer comic books, Jinx is into dark romance books, or romantic tragedies. Wally teases her about her love for dark literature, jokes about stealing poison from her lips, before kissing her as she blushes, a bit embarassed, but also happy. I do imagine Wally being more into romantic movies than Jinx though.

oh yes i can see it, especially since in other TT03 dubs instead of "Never took you for a unicorn type", Wally would say, "Never thought you're a romantic/like romances" so this is pretty much in line with official, hahaha. i mean, according to the comic sequel, she's seen to write love letters, expect roses, and have a picture of her boyfriend by her nightstand.

i personally like that being a romantic is a part of her that's buried among the other witchy and occult-like stuff she's into on the surface. perhaps the same level of secrecy as her secretly liking unicorns and having drawing as a hobby hahaha. to me its a part that shows her more "vulnerable" side. and KF being equally as romantic and matching that energy, perhaps more sappy, can be tooth-rottingly sweet, I really like it.

also as you noticed, i kinda reworked my Wally's The Flash design a little bit :

initially the original design was to mix the modern one and my own take by giving him blue-tinted visor-eye sockets since Barry in this universe, according to issue #45, has the white eyes on his costume.

and so i gave Wally the eye windows thats commonly associated with Barry's Flash to differentiate both of them specifically for this universe. (and so is Barry's appearance in Batman 04, where i took inspo of older Barbara directly from)

HOWEVER, recently, i decided to keep it simple to fit the world slightly better (and push the message clearly).

keeping the hair window from the modern iterations but mixing it up with common Wally Flash's design around the show's airing : white eyes and retaining the yellow lightning but without the white circle (i swear i tried to give him the blues and whites but it made him look so... muted? monochrome? because his TT03 hair is a red wine, auburn, Mary Jane-esque color instead of the lighter, regular ginger. so all you're seeing is just a BIG red, dash of blue, and no other color variety LOL. i know blue means faster but yellow is visually much more vibrant to me.)

technicalities aside, i also intended to make it as if he visibly looked so similar to his uncle, as in, its as if he lived up to the mantle, after all. but the hair window in the design and, in an anime-glasses fashion, the white eye socket occasionally shows his blue eyes telling that its still the same Wally West/Kid Flash in there.

ooookay so the japanese dub of this iconic Flinx scene just makes Kid Flash hitting on Jinx even more obvious LMAO.

some dialogues are recontextualized, such as him talking to Jinx and getting off subject because

"rather we chat and get to know each other than deal with those HIVE dweebs who barely listens to you anyway right?"—paraphrased but still, omg dudeeee.

"why even bother with me anyway?"

"because i care/i'm worried about/interested in you, how about a start over?" okay prince charming over here.

(i can read toddler-level japanese but i still need to use multiple translators like google/bing/deepl/etc for everyday convo, so sorry if you're a native speaker; please bear with me-)
