Sounds like the way you make me feel
When I get triggered, I am in so much pain and agony. But now in addition to that there’s this helplessness and suffocation because I want to end it but I can’t. No, I don’t care it will pass. It might but it will happen again. And will keep on happening over and over again. I don’t want to live an endless life of waiting it to pass.
“She wanted to say ‘Don’t leave me,’ but she couldn’t do it, not again. She was so tired of begging people to love her.”
— Kristin Hannah, The Nightingale (via theliteraryjournals)
The emptiness is heavier thank you think.
“Sometimes not speaking says more than all the words in the world. Sometimes my silence is saying, I don’t know how to speak to you. I don’t know what you’re thinking. Talk to me. Tell me everything you’ve ever said. All the words. Starting from the very first one.”
— Colleen Hoover, Ugly Love
“Mental illness is like fighting a war where the enemy’s strategy is to convince you that the war isn’t actually happening.”
— Unknown
I love the “I can talk to you about anything and not feel judged” kind of vibe.
