Ecological Surprise

Venti is well-versed in love and loss. He's lived through the cycle of love and drought countless times, and his relationship with Dahlia, his mortal Herald, will be no different (though no less important to). However, over time, even the smallest trickle of water can become a river and shape even the strongest bedrock into a flourishing garden. AKA: The fic where I explore Venti and Dahlia's relationship (as canon compliant as I can be) and Venti's experience with stockpiling love in the anticipation of loss.

My first Venlia fic! I honestly went into it wanting to write about grief and temporary, but impactful, love, but then it turned a bit more into a character/relationship study mostly focused on Venti. I hope you enjoy!
