Hello! Still answering asks, but this blog is meant to be an archive/snapshot into the first week or so of psmp - during the height of the fandom, as just a fun joke that everyone participated in.

I talk about some of the early day lore and the context in this post, but if you have more questions let me know! I know there’s a few rp discords and blogs relating to psmp still kicking, but a lot of it has died down from when the joke first ran.

Can you give a overview of some of the psmp’s lore or provide some good links? I’m completely new and I just wanna know what’s going on :_D

Okay, so I assume youre talking about lore lore, like the actual lore and such that has developed. I’m more versed in the early few days meme-lore that were VERY conflicting and undeveloped. There wasn’t really a storyline as it was all mostly parody.

I’m pretty sure that the only thing wildly agreed on was Shittyfartbaby69 and Penisunavailable were enemies who were friends at one point, one of them got executed by the other via electric chair, and Milfboss was a girlboss.

I’m going to admit, I haven’t been keeping up as well with the people who have taken Penis SMP and made it a legitimate thing, but as far as I can tell:

and this discord server has legitimate people/streamers roleplaying as the Penis SMP content creators and they have actual lore streams, which is pretty cool. Their server should be able to help a lot with their version of canon: https://discord.gg/vTgkZFRMgB

Finally, this server is a huge community collab on lore, and has its own minecraft server. I haven’t checked in on it as much as the other one, but its very active and seems to have a super fun community! Just remember, Penis SMP started out as a small parody that spiraled way further than anyone realized. People took it in a LOT of different directions, and if you wanna mix something up, you can! The beauty of there not actually being a Penis SMP is it can be anything you want. None of the lore above is the one true one, just good starting points and communities to get the gist of what Penis SMP is all about. Also, if anyone in notes or reblogs has any other communities or cool links that I should know about, add on! It would be cool to compile a master post of Penis SMP continuities.

Just realize you might have been talking about the meme lore since you said you are brand new! So, basically one night, someone posted this:

This post started making rounds and ended up back in the DSMP community, which then went HAM.

Instead of getting mad or defensive, the fandom basically created these whole new characters, including different character designs, fanart, and fanfic. Most of the stuff from that first week can be seen by scrolling through my blog, especially in chronological order.

Outside of these two characters, new ones were added in and plots surrounding them were either made to parody DSMP plots, be a faintly-reminiscent replica of them, or were completely new.

Shit just kinda went off the rails from there, with the Penis SMP mutating and becoming wholly different from that original parody post, with world-building, lore, and character expansion behind it.

For your character/lore searching purposes, here’s a list and skin ref for a lot of the more universally agreed upon characters.

However, a lot of people sprinkle in other ocs, whether their own or lesser known ones. Same with lore and plots. The only certain thing was that shittyfartbaby69 and penisunavailable had an electric chair execution scene.
