so today I went to watch It, you know- to see what all the hype is about

All I knew from tumblr was that uh ppl either wanna fuck the clown or ship that stranger things kid with that..other kid

so all the time I was expecting the clown to,, idk smile in /that/ wrong way,… or saying something,, anything that.. you know, would let me go “ahh so that is the scene that caused everyone wanting to fuck him” you know something like this

and? these two kids everyone ships ..like barely have any meaningful interaction? what? I thought that idk they would have some special extra, better™ friendship or something but.. they are just in the same group of friends..like ya’ll are wild. and I’ve seen all that fanart and gifs but I didnt even know there would be a fat and a black kid too..like yall genuinely dont care about these..

Headcanons where Pennywise realizes that he’s falling in love with the reader and gets extra possessive over time.

This is…longer than I meant for it to be. I guess I got a bit carried away, oops?

So um. Angst. He hates you; he hates how you’re different than any of his other prey, hates how he has come to see you as a living creature with thoughts and feelings and not merely a food source. 

But he needs you. He needs your presence, comes to rely on it even. Pennywise feels as if he’s addicted, he loathes the attachment he feels, and yet…he can’t bring himself to just end his maddening thoughts and kill you.

His initial attraction to you nearly immobilizes him because it is such a foreign feeling: when you touch him for the first time, his arms just sort of hang limply at his sides, a blank, dumbstruck expression on his face as drool dribbles down his chin.

You start to use this strange power to your advantage; giving him lingering touches if he is beginning to frighten you or if he seems particularly angry and just watch as his eyes lose focus, sometimes even shutting entirely as he attempts to process the rush of affection he feels due to your touch.

Pennywise does not want others to have anything to do with his human.

“You’re such a nice girl. I bet you got a lotta friends. Well, tell them I’m your only friend now.”

Every time he can smell someone else’s scent on you, he gets furious; snarling, hurling questions at you, “Why’d you let them touch you, huh?”

If you ever want to spend time with your other friends, he is immediately defensive: “Am I not enough for ya, Y/N? Is that it?”

He silmuntaneously craves your fear and despises it. Angst 2.0. The scent of your fear intoxicates him and he finds it irresistible, yet the teary, hate-filled gaze that you look at him with whenever he is behaving in an especially monstrous manner makes him feel an emotion he would never admit to feeling, guilt.

If someone seems to be looking at you in anything more than a platonic manner, you’re sure to spot a red balloon floating about- serving as an ominous warning.

The first time he verbally expresses his affection for you, it’s all a big mess. He’d recently exploited your fears in an effort to teach you a lesson for being too friendly to a guy you used to have feelings for a year or so ago. Your fists are banging against his chest, he’s growling viciously as foam leaks out of the corner of his mouth, eyes glowing with barely surpressed rage, and you voice the unspoken question that’s haunted you ever since you first encountered the clown, “WHY DON’T YOU JUST KILL ME ALREADY?”

Pennywise doesn’t think before he speaks, it’s a knee-jerk reaction- claws rip through the flimsy fabric of his gloves, and he hisses in a low, gravely voice, much different than the eerily light and crackling voice you’d become accustomed to: “Because I love you, you infuriating little pest.”
