It doesn’t matter if you call it gay or homosexual or lesbian or apple or jump or whatever else there will ALWAYS be a section of women who just naturally aren’t attracted to men. Not because of politics. Not because of ideology. Not because of trends. Not to make a point. But just genuinely don’t find men attractive.
You can argue all you want about the origin and evolution of a word and you can argue all you want about what was used people had more stupid understandings of what sexuality was , but at the end of the day women who only experience attraction to women deserve to have a world to quickly and concisely get that across and colloquially that has became lesbian. So it feels so weird to me to try and change that. Yeah , whatever, we could get a new word. But why ?? You ask Joe Blo down the road what a lesbian is and he would say a woman who sleeps with other women, a woman not interested in men. Why not keep it simple ? Why try so unbelievably hard to shove men into something that isn’t even about them??

The Velvet Series is a collection of lesbian romance novellas inspired by the songs of Red Velvet. There are six novellas and one short story:
“Choices”- Medieval-esque fantasy with a light-hearted vibe. Rebuild the paradigm, we’re making the rules now. “Lucid Dreamers”- Contemporary fiction with a dash of magic. Happily ever after is only for dreamers. “Night Shift” - Urban fantasy. You’re supposed to be afraid of monsters lurking in the dark… Right? “A Thief and a Canary”- Sci-Fi-lite set in space. Suns set and suns rise, the wheel keeps turning but she’s still the only one… “Bad Days, Better Nights”- Contemporary fiction. Falling in deep, so hard to breathe, but she knows what to do with trouble. “Wild Fruit”- Post-Apocalyptic. Within these walls, no one breaks the rules. But aren’t you curious, honey? “Just Friends” - What’s a woman to do when she has a crush on death? For audiences 18 and over.
What readers are saying:
“These are the fantasy and sci-fi stories I’ve always wanted. Stories where lesbians are front and center and get their happy ending. It’s the stories lesbians deserve.”
"I love that this series truly has something for everyone. it's so hard to find stories about lesbians that I enjoy in general, especially fantasy and sci-fi. so, I love that this series has both and all the stories feel so genuine and are so clearly written with lesbians in mind."

Official ebook versions of The Velvet Series and Familiar are now available to buy from your favorite retailers.
A post with all my ebook links!
I would also like to say that NO AI WAS USED DURING ANY PART OF THE PROCESS. 100% organic, free-range lesbians worked on every part of the process. A lesbian wrote it, edited it, proofread it, lesbians even did the cover art. I put my everything into these books. They were created with the power of lesbianism
Familiar is now available to buy from:
Amazon
Barnes and Noble
Kobo
My Ko-fi shop
So what's it about?
Life is hard when you’re a little stray cat. It’s even harder when no witch picks you to be their familiar because you lack any magical prowess. Despite the cards being stacked against her, one litter runt finds her magic and most importantly, her family. Suitable for all ages.
What readers are saying:
"An incredibly heart warming story about a little black cat and her found family. Cats and lesbians are just meant to go together.”
"I love how immersive this story feels. it's the perfect mix of whimsy and a heartfelt journey of true found family and discovering your gifts."
Now available on Google Play!
I drew the cover for this 😄
The story is both cute and suspenseful at times, I really liked it! If you love cats and lesbians (and want more stories with cats and lesbians), buy Familiar and tell your friends :D

today's bug thing are these snail sandwiches!
Nomitkon, Tajikistan — I’d never seen a bread eating cat before. But this cat loved bread. He would practically sit down at the table and wait to be served. The owners would throw him a few pieces and then throw him out of the house, but he would soon sneak back in and continue looking longingly at the loaves.
same anon, thank you so much for chiming in and a few of the comments who did 🙏
just to add some context since one commenter said it would be controlling if i straight up asked her not to go:
i wouldn't straight up tell her not to. and i know she's very excited about her degree and being around anything academic related. even when/if it's all men. but she is the type who highlyyy values my opinion, so if i said i think it's best she shouldn't go, she'd reconsider or even fully not go: so i wanted to see what the commenters would say about if i should even bring my concerns up.
i'm not a jealous or controlling person and she's given me zero reason to be. it just sometimes baffles me how she thinks being masc (and not full masc as that) somehow cancels it out and makes her any less vulnerable to potential danger. and i know it's a male dominated degree so things like this can happen often, but it's more about it being several Nights that worries me.
maybe it's because she has zero experiences around men (i'm also GS but have experienced a lottttttt of creepy situations) or maybe we were just raised differently and she's a little bit naive with people in general and assumes the best, but for me it's the Several Nights thing and how carried away she sometimes gets by giddily proving she's one of the "bros😎" around her degree and prove herself without seeing the potential dangers. i really don't want to be a paranoid freak or a man hater by default but i'm glad i'm not being fully unreasonable. tysm clittytitty 🫶🫶🫶

Anon, as someone who has hobbies and a job in male dominated sectors, that would annoy me if my girlfriend said something like that 😅 (I would be okay with being asked about the sleeping arrangement though) Put yourself in her shoes, you're super excited about going to an event, hanging out with people you get along with, only for your girlfriend to remind you that those people could actually be monsters and that you can get assaulted (or worse) there and be traumatized for life. Wouldn't it ruin your experience and make you worried the whole time (perhaps for nothing) instead of enjoying the moment?
Unfortunately, women can get assaulted anywhere! Unless you lock her up, you cannot control who she meets and what happens, you have to accept that. You can only trust her to listen to her instinct and protect herself if needed.
I didn't care about Tomodachi Life until I watched the trailer yesterday
