I saw this video that was explaining that God is testing us in our 20s to see how badly we really want it. Our 20s is meant to be what it is and it isn't over until it's over so keep grinding because the work will be rewarded.

If you wanna be close to God, you need to start reading the bible every day. Start small, set a daily alarm on your phone, download the bible app, and read some plans in there, as well as reading the bible itself on there. Start in the new testament and just go. Some days will be cool, some days you won't feel anything, but it matters. It will change you, your character, your life, your thoughts, everything. Next thing you know you are buying a journaling bible and drawing, tabbing, highlighting, lettering, journaling. Every morning, spend time with God, pray, involve Him, talk to Him.

This morning was one of the best yet. I’m almost out of the thick of It with my first full semester of grad school. And I’m happy with the people who I have around me. I’m in a good place. I’m putting the work in and finishing!

I keep seeing things about the power of the tongue and I feel like it is a sign. Not only for this but for me to take seriously and look into it fr.

I also met a man and this is the first time that I truly have met someone who likes me back. Someone I feel comfortable around. Someone who SPEAKS FROM A PLACE OF LOVE. ACTS FROM A PLACE OF LOVE. SEES ME AS A PLACE OF LOVE. Someone I speak openly about God with, wear my fro around both tamed and untamed , sing around, dance with, paint with, smiles with, and never leaves me to wonder where his emotions lie. Someone who meditates with me and speaks positive affirmations over me:

1. You are going to have a good day

2. You are going to work hard today

3. You are going to be happy today

4. You are going to be calm today

5. You are going to have a blessed day

We pick each others boogers in the shower, wash each others hair, and share music as currency. I feel like I’ve known you forever and at the same time I wonder why it took so long to get here. I wonder if you're real. If this is real. I’m not in love yet but I do see the future when I look at you. Thank you baby nugget.
