A snail in a pumpkin patch! The shell was very fun to make. With India ink the pigments are very present in the color, sometimes they separate easily and sometimes they are very thick. Colors like white and gold don’t like gliding down the glass pen and have to be applied with a paintbrush. To get the look I wanted I went with a white gel pen to make my life easier!
Made with India ink and line work done with a glass dip pen.
A little garden snail! Medium is India ink on watercolor paper. I used a glass dip ink pen for the line work and brushes for the rest. I’m working on a cute snail series for the next batch of cards I’m printing.
Snail in progress.
Line art bear drawn and painted with India ink. My art has a musical flow and brings me so much joy to make!

This teriyaki bowl turned out amazing. The star was the peanut sauce. This whole bowl recipe is from Joshua Weismann: the $1 healthy bowl
3/4 cup (229g) smooth peanut butter
2.5 tablespoons (36g) white distilled vinegar
3 tablespoons (42g) granulated sugar
2 tablespoons (50g) soy sauce
2 tablespoons (33g) sriracha
1 clove garlic, grated
Peanut Sauce: Makes 24 servings of sauce. The recipe uses 1/2 of that:
Place sugar in a medium-size pot, soy sauce, white vinegar. Stir and heat to dissolve; allow to cool slightly, add sriracha, peanut butter, and garlic.
Whisk all together, and reserve in the fridge. (Depending on your peanut butter, you might have to add 60ml of water and 4g of cornstarch.)
Breakfast! Baked mashed sweet potato and hard boiled eggs with everything seasoning.
My bff told me she was having a nightmare and when things couldn’t get any worse she looked at the tv and “Joe Burrow quits football” was the running story 😂
