outofrescues ;;― Sorry for the long disappearance without any explanation. I needed some time away before I could really come back here. I guess you could call it a much needed hiatus, though I didn't really want it in the first place.

Because of some stuff that's happened, I don't really know what to do with Pepper anymore. She's my favorite muse and I don't want to lose her, so I'm trying to figure things out so I can keep her. For now she's officially on semi-hiatus. Without going into specifics, I'll be open to AUs again, so if anyone would like to plot or anything, just ask.

For those who have stuck around for the past few months, thank you. I'm not really on my OOC Twitter account that much anymore, but if you want to be in contact with me, just ask for my Skype or cell number. Pepper and I will hopefully be back soon.

      Thank you, Captain Obvious. Is it more personal? Yes. After he chose to date her, my feelings for him became irrelevant. Yes, a part of me will always love him. But now? I want nothing to do with him as long as he’s with her. I’ve told him that I will keep Resilient going, but I never want to speak to him again.

      He might not remember it, but she did try to kill both of us. If J.A.R.V.I.S. had not utilized what little solar reserves Rescue had left, I would have died that day. Tony probably would have as well. I’m tired of him falling back into the same destructive pattern, even if he sees it differently. If he was a real friend, he would have taken my feelings into account, but he didn’t.

       Leaving is all I have to show him that he’s just being an arrogant, selfish bastard for the umpteenth time. He already knows that if it doesn’t work out between the two of them again, I will not pick up the pieces like I always have.

      I have lost so much while being loyal to him, being a friend that he needed… And I just can’t do it anymore.

      It had been just two days since Pepper and Rhodey arrived in Rio de Janeiro for their three week long vacation away from work and everything else back home. She left Wyche in change of Resilient while she was gone and told him to call if he really needed her help with something, but she trusted him. The CEO knew Resilient was in good hands during her vacation.

      The redhead was feeling better than ever already and she was glad that one of her closest friends was there to take some time off with her. They both needed the time away. So far, they'd only really gone to the beach and walked around the city. They still had over two and a half weeks left of time there, so they were in no rush.

      Stepping out of her bedroom, she made her way into the living room and grabbed herself a bottle of water before sitting down on one of the couches in their shared luxury suite. "What do you want to do today, James?" Pepper asked, taking a drink and glancing in the direction of his bedroom.
