"Hey, hey, hey, no need for that. I would’ve done that, too. Except it would’ve hurt a lot more.” A small smile was all she could offer at the moment. “This’ll work out, Sue.”
Perking up the smallest of smiles, Susan sighed and shrugged. "I really do hope so. It feels like my whole world is just... following apart..." Everything changed so fast, it was hard to believe.
"I— shit. I know, I’m sorry. You helped us get Danni back from the Skrulls. I’ll do whatever I can to get him back. No child should be taken away from their mother."
"Thank you, I... I appreciate it. And again, I am so... so sorry. For everything." It had been grossly inappropriate for her to have lashed out, no matter how pained she might have felt.
New Avengers v3 #23
Sorry…why did everyone try to stop this guy from ruling the world again?
It’s not my call, but I’ll… see. If I can get something done. All I can say is that your things will be transferred. And that’s not comfort.
Things can get replaced. My son, my students--they can't. Can you see if there can be anything done about that? He--Jessica, he's my baby boy...

Laura, it's so good to see you.
Sue, I’m… I’m really sorry about Franklin and Valeria.
I know... And I'm sorry I took my anger out on all of you. I--I shouldn't have...
He knew she hadn’t meant to offend him. It wasn’t as if he expected the entire world to know about his ongoing conflict with T’Challa. To speak about such things would bring no comfort. It would be a reminder of what he’d done. But if there was one woman who could make him confess his deepest regrets and sins it was her.
"What is there to say, Susan? I started a war I had to finish and my kingdom is the price I pay for my arrogance." It wasn’t easy to admit that. "I’m a king of ashes. I told my people I’d protect them and I failed in my duty."
Susan had been so wrapped up in herself and her family's problems that it took one outside word from Namor to receive some clarity. Figuring out how to get her children and her home back was still, at its center, her utmost priority, but seeing as there was nothing within her power she could do about it now, Sue wouldn't be helping matters if she continued to grieve about it or stew in anger...
"You did what you thought was right." Namor could be arrogant, prideful, and quick-tempered, but she knew other sides to him that most did not. "I... I couldn't protect them, too. The children... My boy... I know it's silly to compare this to your kingdom, but that's how much they mean to me."

The king studied her. He saw a woman trying to hold things together, but the stitches were slipping bit by bit. “Then perhaps we are more connected than you think. Atlantis is no more and my people lay scattered to the winds.”
Loss was something he knew all to well. He steeled himself from lament and focused on her. “They say a burden shared is a burden lifted. If you wish to talk then I am here.”
Sue bit her lip and immediately regretted bringing up Atlantis altogether. She had said it carelessly without even thinking. Her mind may have been preoccupied with losing the Baxter Building and her children, but it was no excuse. "Oh, Namor... I didn't mean..." She shut her eyes and sighed.
What could Susan say--Johnny losing his powers, Valeria being in Lateria with Victor Von Doom, the disastrous court-hearing, losing her home and her children, or her even more disastrous attack on the Avengers? At a loss of where to begin, she lifted up her gaze. "... What about your burden?"
"I missed your presence but it appears I’ve come at an inopportune time. My apologies."
"You don't have to apologize." She can hardly fault him, and an abrupt visit from the Sub-mariner was the least of her concerns. "But I'm afraid there may not be an opportune time for a while. I don't know if you get surface news from Atlantis, but..." Susan wasn't even sure where to begin.
"Much has happened. To the Fantastic Four. To my family. To me."
Whoa. Sorry. E-evrything okay?
No... And I'm not sure everything will ever be okay.
A pissed off Sue is a scary thought
Fantastic Four #6
"It rarely is where we are concerned, Susan."
"Namor... Wh--What are you doing here?"
This isn't the best time...
