I love doing redraws of my old arts, and tbh, I'm really making progress. Yes, that scene still surprises me, even though it was the only episode where they didn't unleash the potential that the phrase "One of us" gave us. It feels like we're being told to our face that maybe April would have sided with her enemies themselves.

I noticed a very interesting difference: in the first art, April looks like she realized the whole nightmare, that all her friends were absorbed, and thing shows the whole appearance that they can be together as one.

And in the second drawing, she looks scared, which also makes tears flow, and the "mother" bends her neck almost as tall as she is in order to lure her as well.

I don't know why you need the information, but I just like to see the differences when I first drew the art a year ago.

In fact, it was a cool decision to watch this episode on Mother's Day and be disappointed again that the writers had forgotten after that that April's family was connected to Kraang.

I liked that doodle enough that I decided to do a small sculpture of it with some leftover clay I had.

It's not perfect because I'm hardly a sculpture or a painter, but I like the result.

Also, poor baby is pouting because he had to get out of the cup. xD

So I watch Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles... holy shit I love this movie.

I'd never gotten around to watching this movie till 1am tonight and it is some of the funniest shit I've every seen. It's got found family, silly Mikey who is both party dude and big heart boi, angst, blood, Leo having the the pressure of the world- ok you get it. but while watching it I noticed some things that made me grin and flap my hands like a nerd.

so every leo just has the silly gay slut pose? hell yeah that's hilarious.

god I love this stupid van. I need Leo to say this rn "Batman, we need something stronger to get in that base, the bat mobile just isn't made to take a real beating... so batman, get in the party wagon."

Nightwatcher is canon in tmnt 2019 and no one can tell me otherwise

poor Donnie, just put the poor boy down. not to mention how Donnie gets his arm super broken later in the movie. sigh, send him help.

Leo. GET THERAPY, when you start hallucinating the first thing that pops into your brain shouldn't be: "Oh dang all my brothers are dead and It's all my fault, I'm a terrible leader and it should've been me"

I wonder if Raphael ever gets jealous of Mikey post bad end of 2012.

Because Chompy was raised by Mikey after everyone disappeared.

Mikey, the youngest, had to suddenly be the caretaker of both ice cream kitty and Chompy.

And obviously he did well enough for them both to be alive and well after, what 50 years?

So chompy had minimum 45 years longer being raised by mikey than he did by raph.

So who does chompy run to when he is scared, or who does he protect first? It's going to be mikey. And I think on nights when mikey or chompy cant sleep.

Chompy will leave raphs side to go be with mikey.

Raph is chompys dad, but Mikey is chompys parent.
