Update: I feel like I'm finally back to being able to draw at full capacity again, so I will be working on those contest prizes this week, that’s going to be top priority for me.

And I'll probably be doing a username change very soon. I've been wanting to change my online art handle forever and I think I finally settled on a new one. Just gonna sit on it for a few more days.

It's been an off and on battle since I was a teenager, but I've been winning my most recent struggle with lots of help from my medical team and loved ones. No need to worry. I've been doing very well recently! <3

I'm getting better, I had a lot of small victories regarding my medical condition lately, and I had some return of creative energy and just energy in general recently. Hoping to be back very, very soon!

Hey everyone, sorry for the sudden prolonged disappearance. I had a pretty bad health relapse so I haven't really been able to produce any decent art for the past two months. But I'm okay and I'm recovering, and I'll get those contest prizes out ASAP once I feel that I'm able to make art at my full ability again. Last thing I want is to give people artwork that I feel isn't up to my usual standard.

2nd Place: The 2nd place prize will be a bust-up, full-color art piece by me, featuring any subject of your choice, up to 1 character.

3rd Place: The 3rd place prize will be a full-color icon by me, featuring up to 1 character or object.

I don’t have any experience drawing furries, but if that’s what you really want I will do my best to draw some for you

Hi, love your work! Random Question but when you do make your oc's do you ever have certain specfic traits in mind like sexuality or age ect?

Hello, thank you so much. 💖

Usually the process of making OCs for me is to start with a basic aesthetic/motif, and narrative or role they would fulfill in their world. Then from there I decide what they would look like physically via drawing out some concepts, and that's where I would also pick their age.

Their names, sexuality, and basic personality traits, etc. I generally decide based on the "vibe" I get from the final design lol. Although some OCs I picked their names first, then designed them based around their name.

But yeah, I think aesthetic and narrative are generally the first things on my mind when I start making a new character.

Just want to say I love your textures in The Slaying of Lanius piece very nice

Thank you!! 💖💖 90% of it was done with the "Tamar" and "Dry Brush" from the Procreate painting default brushes, then for the gold details I added a gold leaf texture on a multiply layer and fiddled with the opacity.
