Everyone always is, but that’s not the point. The point is that maybe you should try to accept what I told you instead of just think that it doesn’t make sense.  Because maybe the more that you think about it, the more you will find that it helps.

“Great. I’m thinking so, too. We have plenty of reasons to go through with this. A revolt against a rebellion…” he scoffed. “That’s when you know you’re going wrong in a rebellion: if the people you’re leading are rebelling.”

“Yeah hopefully this will be the wakeup call that Thirteen needs before everything they’re doing gets completely ruined.”

It just seems to me that you’re just focusing on the fact that Isobel is gone and figure that’s it.  And she’s going through a lot right now, and I don’t think that you focusing on the past is doing you any favors.  Especially since we retrieved her months ago and you haven’t even moved past that yet.  So instead of looking at what happened, think about what you want to do, and what your goals are, and what you can do to achieve them.  Because closure isn’t necessarily getting what you need from somebody, it’s getting yourself to the point where you allow yourself to move on.

Or at least that’s what my therapist told me, because I’m still working on that too..

That honestly doesn’t make any sense.  All I want right now is for this goddamn rebellion to be done with, but clearly that’s not going to happen anytime soon.

“Maybe a few? I’ve talked to some people and they aren’t happy with how things have been going. I’ll bring up the idea to them, see what they think. If Thirteen’s all about working for the sake of the District, they’ll have to take notice and hear us out if a good amount of us aren’t working.”

“I’ll see if I can do the same.  You’re right, the more people we can get involved the better our odds.  I’d imagine a good handful of the other victors will agree with us.”
