permakid culture is people being weirded out at the most basic things you do, looking at you like you're crazy or something, just because you carry a plushie or spin around a lot or hop from place to place or the most basic expression of your soul.

This is sadly sometimes the reality of being a permakid in a society that looks down on self expression and whimsy. Ive struggled with making friends or being seen as weird because of my bubbly childish personality.

permakid ( specifically permaregressor ) culture is getting tired of the posts where people talk about how you shouldnt want to be a permaregressor , and that its not really fun actually , even though you relate and know its important to talk abou

life is already so hard , and sad and im a kid who likes happy things and i wanna be happy with who i am , even though it makes life harder in a lot of ways for me . even if it largely stemmed from trauma and disability . every good thing comes with bads , and every bad thing with goods . and i like to think that being a permaregressor is the most magical , purest , wonderful thing to come out of my life despite it all .

Permageregressor culture is masking constantly throughout the day but barely being able to understand concepts people are talking about everyday (like just basic adult concepts of like money or other things), and having to let the mask fall as much as possible before bed because trying to go to bed without removing it feels like drowning. Nodding along to conversations with no real idea on what is being talked about.

Hii my little bunnies! I wanted to make a more in depth post about the fact Ive seen quite a few people in both my ask and dms how to be a permaregressor! As ive adressed in my last post about this permaregression is not a choice. HOWEVER... Being a permakid and or permadreamer absolutely is! So I wanted to educate people on how one can be a permadreamer/permakid! When one is a permakid/permadreamer their life tends to be agere/agedre centered. This means being childish affects multiple aspects of their life and identity on a wide scale. This means being childlike affects relationships,intrest,media intake,aesthetics,money habits,hobbies,ect! Now this will look diffrent for everyone ofc. But if you want to be a permadreamer/permakid I suggest incorporating nostalgic,childlike,or childish things into your daily life! This can look like sleeping with a stuffie,eating off kids plates,playing with toys regularly,enaging in nostalgic material,ect! I suggest focusing on what little you enjoys most! Let your inner child be the one in control! It can even be incorporated in casual ways like child based hygiene like kids toothpaste, or wearing clothes your inner kiddo would like most of the time. Being a permakid/permadreamer is about letting little you take the wheel in vast aspects of your life! Hope that helps have a wonderful day!

New to the permakid thing, looking for advice on making friends. It's always been hard for me but especially now.

Talking to adults is weird because they're nothing like me but obviously talking to him kids would be SUPER weird. And there just aren't that many of us. What to do? It was hard enough when people my age were really my age...

Hiii friend! Im going to answer this but it may be a bit disheartening or eye opening depending on how you look at it! But while I recognize its hard to make friends and theres this deep underlying craving to have friends like you, I have learned its best to be ok with being alone. I have been taught my whole life that eventually the right people will come and enter your life but until then you have to love yourself enough to be alone. You have to be more willing to find someone like you and waiting rather than fitting in and finding the closest body. As a permakid is going to continue to be difficult to find friends and like minded people, so learn to be your own best friend. Learn to love your self so completely that friends become a nice add on rather than a need. Other than that all I can truley suggest is go in the permakid tag and go through the accounts and give them a dm. Sorry if this isnt much help but ive been exactly where you are before! I have struggled with making friends and even more keeping friends my whole life. So once you learn to become your own best friend you will feel secure and complete.

How does one be a permaregressor/genq? It seems very comforting but like idk how to be a permaregresser while also having big things to do like school and childcare and housework

Hiii! So this is actually a question I get alot in my dms so I thought this would be a great opportunity to adress it here! In my opinion and understanding one can not become a permaregressor.Because being a permaregressor implies being emotionally or mentally stunted to a younger age NOT by choice. This can be feeling generally younger, ageless with a child lean, younger to a specific age, or specific time period in your like like tween or baby. USALLY being a permaregressor is caused by truama,brain damage, or being neurodivergent.Also many permaregressors are able to live a pretty normal life, we typically still go to school,drive,work ect with the help of masking for the most part. For many of us we are capable of looking after our selfs and function like a typical adult would.Being a permaregressor dosent necessarily imply constantly doing things like useing a paci,playing with toys, or being caregived . But thats not the reality of all permaregressors, some need extra accommodations and help because of being age stunted, due to it limiting some of their abilities to function. If you what you really want is to live a more agere centered life style I suggest becoming a permadreamer or permakid. These are people who are permanently childlike, with agere/agedre being a core part of their identity. This includes it affecting things like relationships,spending habits,copeing skills,aesthetics,hobbies,intrest,ect. Hope this helped! Have a wonderful day!

this isnt a permaculture thing (unless anyone can relate) but i always thought i like. couldnt be a permaregressor because i was already a kid. like, im about to turn 17 now, but when i first considered it i was maybe 14?

u dont have to post this at all In fact u can ignore it, i just wanna get it out somewhere :,)

but i always thought like, im already a kid, just because i still feel like everything i do is for the little baby version of me that never got to do such things doesnt mean im a permababy, just cuz i constantly feel like im not 100% my age doesnt mean im mostly a baby. heck i swear ALL the time and don't have baby thoughts all the time!! how could i be baby permanently!

then i realized it was a lot more than just being PERMANENTLY FULLY REGRESSED, and it clicked. like even at school it feels like i was like.. somewhere in between a scared daycare baby, a scared primary schooler, and just an anxious teen.

I wanted to post this persons beautifully unique experience and share some reassureing words to anyone else who can relate. You can identify as a permaregressor/permakid at any age even as a teen. I say this as someone who has been useing the term since I was 15! Even if this ends up changing as you get older or fading away, how you felt in this moment is just as real! Secondly there is so much more than fully regressed permaregressors. There are semi-permaregressors who are regressed more often then not, up to 70%, of the time. There are also permaregressors whos constantly between headspaces and feel semi regressed 24/7. There are permaregressors whos age fluctuates so frequently they cant keep up. Theres permaregressors who identify with being ageless with a child lean. And so so so much more. Please dont let others experiences cloud your own! Have a wonderful day to everyone reading!
